To a degree they kinda do it since you can hear their instruments in the background during Izanagi no Okami's solo.

Never in my life have I laughed harder than I just did upon seeing Izanagi shred an electric guitar like he's Jimmy Hendrix. I cannot wait for the shenanigans P5 brings about.

eh... british detective novels. Naoto ssaid herself that she was inspired by hard boiled, or american detective novels, set in the 1930s. Saxaphone (as a prominent instrument in Jazz) with a noir melodie seems just as appropriate

Notice that everyone's instruments are almost accurate to their persona 4 the golden instruments except Rise of course, she was the vocalist... And came here for that Naoto thumbnail...

Two instruments in one that's why Izanagi no okami is cool

All of their Persona's combined together makes an unstoppable musical team 😂

Atlus has invested alot into Persona 4. I think its safe to imagine that at its release Persona 5 may not have the popularity of 4. 4 broke from alot of Shin Megami Tensei standards and doing so brought the Persona franchise more out of obscurity. Now that they have a large fanbase, I believe Shin Megami Tensei feels confident in returning to its darker roots with Persona 5. Bold move, so lets see how it plays out.
