Guns are super inconsistent in the persona universe honestly. Naoto and the phantom thieves can shoot other human persona users, yet they don’t take as much damage as Chidori and Shinji do to Takaya’s gun.

Also I think the guns are amped at least a little bit, because you could also say how the hell a little kid can hurt him or a dog. I just think there is an amp in the gun, and not just a regular gun.

Just realized how while everyone elses endings is described with "while being held in your lovers arms" ken gets the "held by your dear friend" text. Glad Atlus came in with the friend zone clutch 😬

The english translations did a censorship because they are cowards. The original japanese has Ken's text be the same. "You spend a long time alone with Ken." As it should be.

Fun fact shinjiro is the only one who wasn't in the whole few months of battles and the final battle, he also wasn't there for when they promised meet up on the rooftop on graduation. But somehow he managed to find his way to you, managed to remember before anyone else besides aigis, despite being bedridden for multiple months in a coma.

I love Mitsuru but Yukari felt more intimate, like I could feel her sadness of having forgotten everything and how she blames herself of doing so. She may be a bitch, but it's quite safe to say if she loves you she really means it, which makes me totally loves her back.

@@killinnnme Yeah. I feel her love for the MC is stronger than the others. When people say they love you more than anything in the world, she actually meant and is ready to put that to the test and is willing to risk the world for you.

Time I ago I commented about how emotional is Yukari's ending. But now I consider Mitsuru's to be so moving as well, mostly cause the words she says, about forge their love from the scratch and having no intention of letting Minato go.

Some of those who dislike her either simply don't like her character (nothing you can do about that), but most of them didn't get her character arc and how it continues in the answer. she tried to detach herself from social relationships from childhood on because she saw what a self-destructive wreck her mother became after her dad suddenly died. Minato comes along, and after months of quiet attraction she slowly allows herself to be vulnerable, faces her feelings and enters a relationship with him. Their love is strong enough that this is the one thing about the journey she doesn't forget. And then the one thing she dreaded happens, he suddenly dies in her arms. Of course she would jump at any chance to bring him back and even turn on the others, and I don't get how someone can't find it tragically beautiful.

Deniz Gökduman The Answer seems pretty necessary to me, I seriously wasn’t sure whether he was supposed to be dead after finishing the Journey, even though I KNEW he would die, I was like “what was that?” I understand you can’t really look on at your own life after your gone but even a little something after the credits like showing you going limp or something would’ve made it clear, but there’s nothing at all.

For me the answer makes no sense, honestly. It feels more like some fanservice event because people wanted more of the game and some protagonist by Aigis.

What I think the protagonists said as their final words to who you choose to romance. FeMC: 1:58 "Promise, Akihiko...?" 3:18 "Me too, Shinjiro..." 4:30 "Thank you, Ken..." MC: 7:26 "To the very end, Yukari...?" 8:47 "I'll never leave you, Fuuka..." 10:14 "Till death do us part, Mitsuru..."

It's a shame why the creators didn't create this game before Persona 4 like Persona 3 Ultimate, with The Answer Story which the chosen one must be decided with this true ending. For example, if male protagonist choose ... then is Aigis who is the chosen one, but if he choose Yukari instead, then is Yukari who is the chosen one, but The Answer Story would be different. The Answer Story between Yukari, Fuuka and Mitsuru must be different. Sorry to say but it's was already late.

I mean, it depends. Elizabeth abandons the velvet room to free him, so eventually he would get released. It's just that there isn't much of a story for him anymore so we'd never hear about it. I think the MC dying to protect everyone is more in line with the themes of the game though.

As much as I was torn to pieces by the ending, I think it was a perfect ending. It's the kind of ending that you can feel proud of the protagonist for what he has done, especially after putting dozens of hours into the game. He died so peacefully, the game settings when he died (rooftop, cherry blossoms, music) were so perfect that I think the ending couldn't get any better

@@mondelsson besides, even then, it’s not like he could come back to life in the real world. once he became the seal, his human form was pretty much dead, so there’s no way he could physically come back to life. all that’d happen is that he won’t be suffering saving the world from collapsing

Honestly, I like Yukari's ending the most for Makoto Since she gets to have some closure with him instead of not being able to be there to say goodbye to him in his final moments, so the events of The Answer likely never happened in this timeline

man yukari's ending makes The Answer hit even harder

Oh, knock it off already guys. I highly doubt she was actually dating Ken even during the social link. Not even Japan can be THAT weird. Even if it made it seem that way. I feel like maybe Ken fell in love with her, but the love she felt for him was more like the love an older sister feels for her younger brother. I also feel that somewhere along the lines, Ken himself knew that too, but he just kind of went along with it in hopes that she would ONE DAY love him once he got older(tho with the mc passing, he would never get the chance anyway). When you think about it like that, it kinda makes the social link feel not so....weird....I guess.

Look there was concepts of romance referenced but the way this is represented is in a much more acceptable and appropriate manner though the Japanese version is more explicit of it things aren't too bad.

This game still means everything to me. I can't 😭

Those endings were so much more satisfying that the original one and the one we got in Reload. Spending the last moments with the one you bonded the most is way more fitting and emotional for the end of his journey. It is so weird to have Aigis being forced upon you when you can literally friendzone her with someone else. As if she is saying a one-sided confession.

The first time I played the original version on the ps2, it didn't really occur to me that Yuki might have died. It just seemed a natural reaction for the hero of such an adventure to be taking a rest. Altho I understand everybody's frustration. After a long, fulfilling story, featuring likeable characters with decent character progression, I felt as if I was suddenly just cut off too.

I have question if anybody knows the answear. I finished Male MC story on Maniac difficulty without knowing this options existed and then started Female MC story on New Game + (loaded my finished Male MC save file), but on Hard mode (because I wanted to save my Compendium progress and itemd). But when I finished Female MC story, even though I entered into romantic relationship with someone, I didn't had option to choose at the end (I had defealt Aigis) My question is did I need to, let's say, after finishing Female MC story start New Game +, but choose again Female MC to have that option or did I first time did something wrong and misinterpeted? I somone can help me, I would really appreciate that.

Now i understand Yukari feeling in The Answer that she really want to bring him back.

If only Yukari had been the cannon ending for Makoto, things could have turned out slightly better for her in The Answer (don’t get me wrong- The Answer is what made me love Yukari the most in P3 for how realistic and flawed she is, but maybe she could have been less abrasive with Aigis if Yukari had been the one to be with Makoto in his final moments).

14 Demon Jagger debatable. yukari was selfish enough to go thru ANY lengths to save minato/makoto without hesitation, she didn't even care if the world ended if it meant seeing him again. aegis? lmfao, the toaster was still in doubt as to what to do.

@@Evil_Beauty my take on it is that someone is bound to be written as the antagonist. It's a must. I hate his guts more than anything, that I can assure you. But I respect the fact that at the end of the day, the writers created a good villain in the sense of his impact. The fact that I hate his guts is a testament to that.

Ahhhhh 😩 I both love and hate this ending of P3 😭 everything we work for to end like this it’s frustrating . In the eyelids scene I keeping saying “don’t close your eyes don’t close your eyes “. When I played Persona 4 arena I hoped that we could get an Ultimate persona game where the characters from Persona 3 to 5 come together to save the whole world and the possible chance to save P3 main character , the storyline could work

Personally, the aigis and shinjiro endings are the most powerful ones.

Don't care what anybody else says really, Yukaris scene here and The Answer as a whole just shows that shes the canon love interest imo. She also gets WAY more shit than she deserves cause if anything shes the most human and relatable party member. In The Answer everybody apparently went through the grieving process in record time while she was still acting the way someone who just lost a close friend/lover very recently

When Atlus was making Persona 3, Yukari was originally gonna be the MC's canon love interest but they scrapped it when they decided to go with Social Links instead.

There isn’t a cannon ending. You are the main character so you decide your ending but yes Yukari has the most emotion. Ultimately you decide though

Dude I'm already on my 9th playthrough of this game and NG+ since my 2nd playthrough. I didn't get any choices and always have been Aigis. I maxed all the main girls social links. :/ But I did get choices for FeMC.

@@Demi-fiend Yes xD I was told by someone that we get to unlock The Answer on P3P after our 3rd playthrough. Then after that I found myself not yet getting The Answer, then that someone thought and told me it will appear after my 5th playthrough. The result was still the same. Then that someone told me again it was just a misunderstanding she read from somewhere xD I couldn't blame her. I had fun playing P3P and decided to keep playing it.

NJBH 24 lmao why would you believe that shit, do you not know how to Google anything? If you’re really not getting these things it may be because you’re playing on Merciless, I hear that the flag to get these options is not carried over if you pick Merciless, since nothing is carried over, I moved down to Hard from Merciless just because I wanted to make sure I got these extra options should I so choose to play through it again.

I'm not in the mood to replay 264 floors, hundreds of bosses, and Nyx so here I am 😩

ending explanation:since you "sealed nyx" all of your power and pottential is going to that seal and your body grows tired as you've turned into a commatosed state.so heaven forbid if the main character ever wakes up that just means the seal was broken (also aigis got the same pottetial you had and they all got trapped in some sort limbo after the ending)

yes, but not by a lot. shinjiro is still alive if you complete his social link in p3p, but ends up in a coma for the rest of the game (until this moment of course)

No. While the max Moon social link does prevent Shinjiro's death, it puts him in a coma and out of your party. Everybody still acts as if he's dead the following day and the story progresses exactly like normal playthrough.

In reality, he really cares. And he's the most gentleman of the bunch. Just because of an enemy changing him to be the best he is. He's literally the most reasonable in the Answer too.

This is in the ng+? Damn, I thought I messed something up. It really should be in the first playthrough I doubt anyone wants to go thru 70+ hours of grind again just so some pixels can say I love you.

Bro I swear, When I first played this years ago when I was a kid, I really though the MC just fell asleep because he was tired from all that happened and he was going to live happily ever after with his friends now. It wasn't until like a few years later when I saw some clips from The Answer that I realized how wrong I was.
