Couldn't agree more. I usually hate how they write female characters on TV. But Root and Debra from Dexter are one of the best female characters in my opinion.

Nice user name Root would be proud of you.

“Bad Code” was one enthralling episode and Root made it come alive. Kudos to Amy Acker for the portrayal.

I got meet Ms Acker at a con and in person she is almost the exact opposite of Root, very nice, chatty, almost bubbly personality. Only serves to prove how good her acting ability is. Still a big fan of her and POI today.

It was a great show...So sad it's over :(

Amy Acker has played in The Gifted and Perskn Of Interest. Both shows were amazing in her presence! ❤️

The chemistry between Root and Shaw, was intense. Makes me want a spin off with both actors repriseing their roles. That would be awesome.

It was actually believable while not being forced down our throats while other shows blatantly shove same sex relationships down or throats. Written right it can resonate with viewers and fans, this was one of those shows that written it right.

Awesome! I miss Root. She was by far my favourite character.

Root is probably my favourite character in Person of Interest, bar only to Samaritan. But that's not really a character, so they don't count.

Well samaritan was designed with even more AI capability than the machine, who is heavily introduced as a character itself (or herself), so I'd argue that samaritan would count as one too

I think this is one of the most underrated series that exists... I'm pretty disappointed that it didn't have a great success. I hope Netflix will bring the show back!

For a while, it did. I think it was in the top 5 of most watched shows during the first two or three seasons. Viewers just didn't seem that fond of the serialized aspect of the later seasons, it seems!

I think it's simply a case of the people who normally watch shows on CBS expecting a serialized show they can hop into and out of at any time, like NCIS. Honestly, POI wasn't even like that in the first two seasons, but once Samaritan showed up it basically became fully serialized. But CBS basically confirmed it wasn't cancelled because of viewership, it was cancelled because they didn't fully own the show and thus weren't earning maximum profits from it. Hence "Limitless" showing up as a semi-serialized sci-fi show fully owned by CBS that just "happened" to get greenlit the year POI was cancelled. Please can network TV just die already.

I'm not sure yet! Harold's theme is always giving me a hard time because the variations are usually so different and quite short. I do have videos for his theme from the first two seasons. I might do one for all of the four seasons, but first I'm working on a video for Shaw's theme.

At 2.02 Is it root theme song.. Or taken from another song?
