I love how the Samaritan's theme written into musical notes is the reverse of the Machine's theme

@@charlesray5949 How could the high table compare with an omniscient being? It would have all their secrets and tactics plus more! I would enjoy the show though not to mention how they'd become aware of samaritans existence during the initial phases of our AI overlords plan.

@@samaritan695 Well realistically, it was because CBS didn't want to pay for 2 more seasons, so season 5 became much shorter, the original plan was to have season 6 be the finale IIRC.

When it all started as a number per week and save a person. I never imagined to be like this. What I'm watching. Can't spoil for whoever never watched this. It's a surprise you never expect and it's something that has the biggest questions of our time. Masterpiece. I'm happy to be alive to see it. Even the fiction. But maybe not for long. ;)

Person of Interest is the best series ever created. Absolutely a legendary masterpiece.

no, new 2.0 was restored from core backup, so its more less same, maybe with some upgrades when She is free now, so as i wrote 2.0.1

I re-watched this bit of the episode many many times just for this music. Greer standing there as the world around him is falling apart. Just brilliant.

****SPOILERS - just in case you haven't seen it **** 6:50 until the end is my fave part for Samaritan. A great antagonist along with the man misguided enough to bring it into existence and give it control. Samaritan gave me an antagonists to get really worked up over, it was attacking my favorite individuals in the story, including the machine my favorite character, the moment it targeted the machine I was up in arms at Samaritan hoping they would get out of that big disadvantage they were in towards the end. The soundtrack made Samaritan come alive even more and that's where the image of Samaritan was completed. Excellent series.

POI is my live. Forever in my heart... Iam 14, but i know its second best thing in my live (mom is first).... Pls one more season.

I like the Deus Ex Machina with its background sound effect.

Plottwist: the Machine of 5th season is actually Samarithan which goal was to convince the world (Finch, the government, etc) of his final defeat.

@@WonkelDee the government goes further: it decides to enter a new age of the digital currencies, constant surveillance, revolution in medical industry, etc. For the new system to work, all the participants must receive a neurochip. The idea isn't that bad: it would send anonymous medical data which would help with early cancer prevention, diabet, common problems. In return, it also checks human's DNA so the new digital passports couldn't be falsified. Common folks learn about their plans, panic, start spreading anti-machine theories; propaganda intestifies when some companies decide to push the chip under cover of the vaccines for which they start fake pandemic. World War 3 is about to begin in season 6 of PoI

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend!" Root would fit that statement. At first she was classified as the antogonist. Then after retasking from "Her". She became a protagonist. Claypool created something that can only be done with phinoix mode. Live, Die, Repeat! Afterwards he has an inocent child. After it did a little search, it became self aware and decided to make humanity irrelevant before it crashed with Claypool witnessed it's birth and death (1.62 seconds later)

Neither AI is good or evil; they simply follow programming. Some would argue Samaritan saves more lives.

i think its more to samaritan produces much clearer result, democracy is a more human way to handle things but it will take a long detour, authoritarian is less humanity in handling the problem but the result comes much faster......its just matter of point of view which do you prefer and to be honest the where and the time that you live also become a great factor in choosing which.....

If they are too ready to get rid of the single specialist on biology on their space station, how would they survive so long. Couldn't get past first few episodes. I don't see the reason it wouldn't reprogram itself after given a freedom of will trait.
