The thing is....Civilians CAN buy these. Price ain't cheap, but it IS available. However, in the Civilian sector, my feeling is "secure network" would vanish and it would basically be just a mobile "LAN" for lack of a better term. Lots of features/capabilities, but unsecure non-the-less.

I doubt it has some sort of internal censors built into the Mp5u, but an organization may add it to the network in some other way.

Just about any 25H/3D0X could do something similar for a team with a Motorola, cheap android, dual ptt. 30k is just stupid..

They have amazing tech, but sadly they are wayyyyy overpriced. Government contracting will make you do that. Their hardware on the MPU-5 shouldn't cost more than $750. If we are generous with the tech development, r&d, marketing, the total radio should cost $1500. But it isn't. They cost $20k to $30k. Because they sell to the .gov and embezzling tax money is fun. Sadly, they are almost as elitist as Motorolla. Even if they technically sell to you - for the measly cost of a nice car.
