🇮🇷 【Persian Vlog】My first trip in Iran: Shiraz سفر در ایران (subtitles)
【Travel with language】
This is not a normal travel vlog, I call it "travel with language" because I try to speak the language of the country as much as possible during my trip. Through the language I meet friends from all over the world, I can create a special connection with the country and culture, I can communicate with people and understand different points of view. This is one of the main reasons why I love learning languages.
00:00 Intro
00:35 Conversation with Negar
03:16 DAY1: Nasir Al-Mulk Mosque and Persepolis
06:28 DAY2: Vakil Mosque and Vakil Bazar
08:04 DAY3: Narenjestan Ghavam and Zinat Al-Molk Historical House
14:47 Reading Hafez's poetry in front of Hafez tomb
This is the first time I speak Persian in Iran after a year of learning. 🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷
I was fascinated by the Persian language and Iran for a long time, but when I really travelled there, the country gave me a lot of surprises, by its beauty, its cultural richness and its lovely people.
We say in anthropology "go to the field and see with your own eyes" . Travelling, especially travelling with an open mind is the best way to get out of the stereotypes created by the media and language is certainly the key to allow you to go deeper.
I am sure I will come back to Iran again and again and make more videos. I hope I can show you a different Iran from my eyes or motivate you to learn persian, this poetic language. I hope you can see my progress in Persian in the future.
Thanks to my dear Iranian friend Negar who accompanied me on this unforgettable journey and helped me make this video. ❤️❤️❤️
About the music: because of copyright concern, I can't use my favourite persian music, but just normal licensed BGM. I hope my Persian friends can understand. Love you all!❤️🇮🇷 🇮🇷 🇮🇷

@Leonard Lye She looks like she comes from a great and glorious Turkic tribe and she interested in primitive persian iran? Why? The country iran, they spoken Seljuk Turkish (with Cagatay and Yenisey Turkish Dialects) for 1000 years, 70% of it's culture and language consists of ancient Turkic words, a lot of ancient motifs/symbols you can see on carpets or buildings, you can also see these Turkic monument every day. You can see and hear the Turkish dialects are spoken throughout from the north down to Tehran. Were there not a radical Islamic shia ruling, and would their writing in Latin letters and not instead of Arabic letters, so you would recognize in the language and culture the heritage of many Turkic tribes. (Turkmen, Uzbek, Kashkay, Karakalpak, Kipchak, Halac, Khazar, Tur-coman).

@@kilipaki87oritahiti A very generic comment from someone who has been brainwashed by media. Dictatorship, democracy, etc. If anyone thinks for a moment that some countries who claim to stand for human rights and democracy really have that, must think again. Do some digging and you will see that it is only an illusion of democracy. Those who claim to stand for human rights, are the same nations who until yesterday and still today are looting other countries and bringing war and misery to them. The rabbit whole is very deep and I am never surprised to hear such comments. The western media is very good at mind control.

Hi brother we love Iraqis. We have important historical buildings in Iraq that are a reminder of our ancestors, such as Ivan Mada'in or Taq Kasra and even the name of your capital baghdad and Iranian people no longer believe in Islam, they have become oriented towards their ancient, historical and cultural historical identity. they love their own religious teachings, i.e., Zoroastrianism. And they no longer want to call themselves a Muslim nation or to have a leadership in the Islamic world, but they want to have a relationship with other countries with their historical identity, which is the legacy of our fathers, as Iranians, not Muslims. actually, shia was a disagre from iranian people to islam .we changed most of the religious exercises in islam . iranian put some zoroastrian rituals in shia including ta'ziyeh, which is a relic of Siavashan, or visiting graves, which is a relic of Zoroastrian religion, taking the 7th and 40th is a relic of Zoroastrian religion.
While watching the video I felt like you deeply enjoyed speaking Persian and Learning new phrases. I also love learning new languages and will soon start to learn Chinese. خیلی ممنون که به کشور ما سر زدید. سفر بخیر ❤

@@xm709OH fuck off!! Everyone in Iran is oppressed! I know Baha'i people who cant go to school. At the end we are all Iranian. Last thing Iranian people (Kurd, Lor, Azeri, Turkman, Baloch, and different religions like Bahai, Zoroastrian, Christian, and Jewish) need is people like you trying to separate us from our culture and history (the one thing that keeps us together!). Our government is already screwing us! we don't need your negativity either!

@@xm709 you are fed up with propaganda, only problem Iranian Azeris have is that they can't learn their mother tongue in schools, cause Persian is the official one and is needed for different ethnicities to communicate with each other, you can have fully Turkic names, there are many people with Turkic names here, and you can freely learn any language including Azerbaijani, just visit Iranian Azerbaijan and you see people speaking Azeri with each other everywhere, they only speak Persian when the other person don't understand them, they even talk in their language in official places cause the majority there are Azeri, plus Azeris are one of the richest ethnicities in Iran, real people under pressure are Arabs, Baluches and Kurds, which live in a poor condition, Azeris are actually the biggest supporter of this dictator regime cause they're conservative and religious (the old ones, young generation is secular just like any other young Iranian), my best friend is from Ardebil and she actually does confirm that, you are defending Russia, an Empire who divided you and suppressed you, when you used to be Iranian and free

@@sinnerprophet7391 Iranian state on purpose tries to assimilate and eradicate Azeri Turkic identity, it's a fact. Iranian Azeris speak for themselves, not these Bahai "Azeris". 好酷!😍 It's so inspiring to see you embrace your curiosity for cultures that are different from your own 😮 Tbh, sometimes I worry if other people around me would judge me for wanting to learn Arabic and learn more about the middle east, especially since in the US, unfortunately there are negative stereotypes of the middle east. But I think it's because of those strongly ingrained stereotypes, it should actually be more motivation for people to try to learn and understand, instead of continuing to stick to old judgements to keep us divided. 5:32 I like your comment about wanting to learn cuneiform. Actually, one of the reasons why I want to learn Arabic is because I think Arabic calligraphy is very beautiful~ 😊 Language learning doesn't have to be "useful" or profitable; we can just enjoy it and appreciate it's beauty ✨❤ Enrich our minds instead of enrich our wallets.
