@karenc5271 personally, I am glad that she has taken the time to do these videos. I live in the US, and I purchased the persian tiles yarn kit, which included the pattern. I was very disappointed that the Official Janie Crow tutorials did not take the time to show how to do the first 3 rows. I've been crouching in the round for 50 years and I know how important it is to do the first few rounds correctly as it's the base for the entire square/octagon. I too was confused with the written pattern and when I turned to an official tutorial for help it was omitted. Additionally, I do not think that this channel owner or any others are trying to undermine or take credit for her work. It's unfortunate that Noone from the Janie Crow team could take the time to show the first 3 rows. Once again, I'm thankful to have some sort of instruction that was not provided to me from an official site. Although these comments are old, it's important to know that many many people are still purchasing and making this particular design and no updates have been made to Janie crows official site for rounds 1thru 4. Even 7 years later. Thank you again for these tutorials many people appreciate having someone give clarity to this project.

Thank you for the video! Attempt #2. I was super paranoid, because in the written design it wanted 7ch, 2dc(2sc), 3dtr(uk) treble(us) and I was getting so confused trying to translate from UK to US then it had to be 15cm(6in) and I’m like…. My pattern is coming up way bigger then described 😬😩. So thank you again for this simple tutorial ❤️
