Persian Restaurant In LA Has Been A Staple For 25 Years

Raffi's Place has been serving Persian cuisine since 1993. The restaurant serves 15 types of kebab dishes all hand cut and marinated daily. What started out as a small restaurant grew to cater to 1,000 to 2,000 guests a day and it's one of LA's most beloved Persian restaurants.

One of the head chefs and has taught me a lot about cooking you can actually see him in the background ( 1:30 the one wearing full black and facing the other way)I’ve visited this place many times for my graduation, my little sisters birthday party, and other events and everyone is very nice and the restaurant overall has an amazing vibe!

Ryan G. Poor Persian still blaming Arabs for his problems. The name "Omar" makes your blood boil you poor pathetic being. Iran can be a great nation competing with Turkey, China, India, and even the US and Europe. Because of your "Khomeini" revolution your country can now be compared to Afghanistan or SriLanka. It has been more than 1,400 years and you dummies are still bitching. Islam brought freedom to you people who were slaves to your King Kisra you little Kiri.

Not just people from Mexico, basically any country from Central America. Here in NYC they staff the kitchens of all restaurants. Italian, Greek, Pizza joints, etc. I've worked with them and they are hardworking and dedicated AF. Many of them take the work because its available and is often paid in cash, which helps if you are undocumented. That also means they have no protections and no benefits. I would trust my life with any one of them. They are good people, not criminals. Criminals don't work in shitty jobs for little pay, they commit crimes.

I ALWAYS love the Columbia! The food is delicious, the decor is fantastic, & the service is top notch. The Columbia takes you back to a time when eating out was a rare treat. The decor is over the top opulence with statues, chandeliers and tiles. Between the historical vibe and the fabulous Cuban food, the company store (where you can buy the scrumptious Cuban bread, their family cookbooks, or the beautiful Sangria pitchers) and easy parking options, The Columbia is a great choice for a casual lunch or dinner to impress!

Absolutely disappointing. Terrible representation of the culture by someone claiming to be half iranian. I see this second. Amazing representation, beautiful description, every detail accurate and on point. To me this demonstrates the quality of this video. ClevverStyle has almost three million subscribers and they put out a false representation they should be ashamed of. Thankyou for redeeming it. This video has double the views. Wonder why. I have been going to Raffi’s since 1986 and let me tell you they are truly the BEST Persian middle eastern restaurant in Los Angeles. I’ve ate at them all Orchid’s, Shiraz, Shamshiri. None of them have the consistency and amazing mouth watering flavor’s as Raffi’s. Hence why his business has grew from originally a literally hole in the wall restaurant to him buying out all the surrounding business and by 1990 making it the well known established and great business it is today.

kadiqoyly yaralı dude! It seems delusion of panturkism is all over ur country. Real Turks are from central Asia closed to Mongolia and China. Xinjiang is a real land of real Turks. Even nowadays there is an area that in Kazakhstan named Turkistan. ur most country Turkey originally are Circisians, Greeks, Romans,Georgians, Kurds, Azeris, Russians, Persians, Romans, Arabs, Bulgars and Balkanizes who assimilated by ghuz Turks and mustafa kamal pasha wanted to unify that area by naming everyone as a turk. Still more than 15 million Kurds live in ur country.Izmir city and all the area around it people speak Greek and are originally Greeks even you can see Roman and Greek architectures all over the city. What r u talking about? 😂😂😂😂😂 Azerbaijan is the same thing. A country full of Azeris, Georgians, Kurds, Kurmanj, Lezgis, Abkhasis, Russians, Armenians, Tats, Talishs, Tajiks, Persians and Turks which seprated from Persia not more than 200 years ago becuase of oil. u Turks (AKA Circisians) Think that there was no people, ethnic or nation ever existed before ottoman empire. I remember when I read a turkish newspaper which claimed in even native American Indians, Elvis Parsley and Lady Gaga were Turks 😂😂😂😂😂, Believe me before even ottoman empire existed, Greek Empire, Persian Empire, Roman Empire, Russian Empire, Abkhaz Empire ruled the whole Caucasia and Anatoly. So don’t claim for every shit. Be creative! 😁😁😁😁😁

Probably u thought turkish and wanted to translated in english which is not working. But from ur broken english it seems some of u yeniceris and turkified circassians have a deep place of Persians, Azeris, Kurds, Arabs, Greeks, Georgians, Russians and Armenians in ur conscious because u guys have stolen a lot from their cultures, Languages, Famous people and cuisines. I wish all of them much continued success. But nothing like bbqing at your house. Picking that meat off the grill with the juices running out and extremely hot in your mouth.
