2:09 Its difficult to maintain target with such a big stride.. maybe that's why Malinga always hits the toe, he gets a lot of freedom with his action, no big stride, eyes always on the target and lateral motion generating just enough pace

Top video, good explanation. I'll be showing this to my sons, there's stuff in this vid that'll help them even though one of em took 10-2-15-6 in an adult match. Best cricket match I ever saw was Aussie girls v England at Essex a couple of years ago, same again this year.

Just a tip to fellow spinners- if you are new, start bowling with pace (Don't become a fast bowler, just a slow bowler will do) so that you can bowl line and length, THEN tweak your action to become a spinner.

Aslan Ellyse Perry is only as strong as a 13 year old boy. I am surprised to see why she is allowed to wear shirt while bowling, or ANY clothes for that matter. Such a waste of clothes. She can bowl naked. Then the swing of her two small balls in front while she runs in will be more interesting to observe. Anyone will milk the shirtless (and pantless) Perry in a match situation.

+Aslan I bowl faster, more accurately, and with better control of swing than her, and i wasn't even in the top side in my high school, any decent amateur male player would have no problem facing her, many 14 year old school boys are way better bowlers than her.

Honestly, i was looking for a video that teach the art of swing bowling...I saw many... greats video. They were all lacking in something. KZread suggested yours. Awesome way of teaching. Slow motion videos plus talking about the techniques... just a single video. But very impressive. Please show in slow motion when the ball is released... for learners that is very important... I want to send my son to you to learn about fast bowling...Do you run any academy... he is about 8 years old

Very informative video for opponent teams. She told everything from her line and lengths to her field plans. I guess every batsman who watches this video can make plans to face her and score off her bowls, unless she can bring variations in her bowls on the spot which her male counterparts do

Impressive pace for your age. Just work hard and practice a "stock ball". That should be the ball you can land 5 times out of 6 in an over. As a fast bowler as well I've learnt to not aim at the stumps. It may be rewarding to knock the stumps out of the turf but taking the wicket is key. Getting it the shape in or out and getting the batsmen to make a vital error when he is slashing away at the ball is great and what you should be aiming for. You see that the greatest bowlers like Curtley Ambrose and more recently, Dale Steyn,who take wickets when it's edged behind to the keeper or slips. Sorry for the paragraph, hopefully my tips helped you or anyone else. -Learnt from the guy who taught Ryan Harris.

Just try to bowl faster and faster. It doesn't matter about accuracy. So long as you keep bowling faster you'll be OK.
