He nearly cost us the game, because his ability to score with Tatum off the court diminishes and he forces bad shots, doesnt create and cant handle well enough to be a floor general. That 3 was him redeeming himself for nearly selling and his inability to hold leads as the 1a in that scenario. Doesn't seem like if I'm reading these comments but what is the issue with the media and Celtics anyone?

I hate this. While I agree that Tatum has been up and down in big moments at times he was clutch and was the reason they won last night. It’s fine to have an opinion whether I agree with you or not but when it’s not consistent your opinion is already invalid. I’m tired of seeing star players have a bad game and the media hates and then going back on it once that star has a big game soon after. These debates get worse and worse every stinking year 👎🏼

Both Ant and Luka have had stretches where they’ve struggled during these playoffs, yet the media praises them constantly. Meanwhile, Tatum is averaging 25/10 and has led the Cs to a 9-2 record so far in the playoffs, yet he is criticized every single game. This is absolutely ridiculous at this point. It’s impossible to reach the standards all these media personalities are setting for him. They expect him to drop 50 every game and to go 16-0 in the playoffs. Also, how is Kendrick Perkins still employed.. he has THE worst takes I’ve ever seen.

I get what Perk is saying. Tatum missed some bunnies. He rushed some shots. Had he not done that the Cs would have put the Pacers away. RJ brought up the counter argument that Tatum scored 8 in OT. I’m siding with Perk. Tatum has to be a little more patient. He does everything else right. Tatum has to shoot the ball a tiny bit better which is difficult for him because he takes tough shots. I don’t want any hate. I’m just saying that Perk is right about Tatum being asleep on a few possessions. Not all but a few.

Everyone is missing Perks point. Yea he finished with 36 but it took an overtime that they shouldn’t have even been in but the Pacers fumbled. Without the mistakes the Celtics lose and Tatum has another bad-below average game with yet another home loss in the playoffs on his watch. He’s either that guy or he’s not. But if we’re gonna place him on that top tier he has to play better it’s that simple

And you think that's Tatum's fault? LMAO. I swear some people don't actually watch games. Everytime Tatum sits, Pacers goes on a run. It doesn't help that Mazulla is too much of a doofus to make rotational adjustments. Instead of pounding Al to the ground, he could have pull out Brissette and Queta to spell minutes for Al since Kornet was ineffective against this Pacers team.
