He is a Celtic.. We C's fan criticize our team he is just doing it out loud, so I was never mad at him... I know Perk is overjoyed that he was wrong! I am however pissed at guys like Nick Wright who try to undermine JT greatness just bc pulling lousy stats and comparing our team to the 04 piston, kind of pisses me off when you consider our offense is all time #1.

They’re actually in a good position with the salary cap, plus it looks like Wyc and the other board members are perfectly happy with paying the luxury tax for this team as long as they’re competing and winning every year

Second apron penalties won't kick in until after next year too. Plus the new tv deal will push the cap up. They are only 6 million into the projected second apron once the potential extensions to Tatum and White are signed i think. They also still have all of their own draft picks plus I think one from the lol KP trade. Brad is awesome.

I am an LA Lakers fan and I agree with Perk. When the Celtics traded for Holliday and Porzingus last summer, that is when the Celtics won this year's championship. I can see the Celtics winning a few more championships for the next 7 - 8 years.

Ya the fact that Tatum didn’t win finals mvp gives him something to work for next season. This is a good thing.

I'm going to allow myself to enjoy this one as a fan, but in all reality this team should win a second with this core. The league is as talented as it's ever been, but if KP stays healthy they are the best team without question.

A lot of people don't realize the Cs could of/should of 3 peated. That starting 5 of Perk, Rondo, KG, PP, Ray never ever lost a playoff series together. 09 no KG huge loss. 2010 were up 3-2 vs Lakers no Perk last game and a half. Would of def won in 2010 with Perk.

Fun fact: The celtics won the last championship on June 17th 2008. Then, they won another on June 17th 2024 with black coaches back to back.
