Just turned 40 and got my 1st bottle on the plane moving abroad age 18. Loved it from the moment I first smelled it. This and Dolce & Gabanna pur homme EDT. Classy and timeless. Fresh yet also masculine.

Never smelled anything quiet like it ever since. 10/10. A masterpiece for sure.

Fascinating and interesting review. Haven't tried this, might have to give it a try. Thanks as always Aaron

Its a lovely inexpensive, day scent.

Picked this up today! Went to the mall today and recognized it from this video yesterday. I tried it on my skin, the price was not bad, and my gf really liked it so why not

Its not always the quality but the fine precision, talent, and the right timing what creates timeless fragrances like 212 a Masterpiece.

That's funny, I recently bought this as the 50ml was going cheap on Amazon (about £20). I used to wear this years ago, around 2005 and heard the reformulation had ruined it. Put it on and after about an hour I love the smell. For such a well known and largely affordable designer, it's a classic.

This is a masterpiece. It is sweet, floral, musky, mildly green and slightly citric. It is a very classic amalgamation of such different notes like gardenia, spices, musk, sandalwood, incense. It's transportive and it's a very pleasent smelling perfume. I will always have a bottle as it will literally work anywhere. It anchors to the skin PRETTY well. I've got a 2021 bottle and it's just WOW.

Rummaging through my closet the other day I came across a 3/4 full bottle of 212 from 2008! Still smells fantastic and lasts a very long time, unlike the current formulation from what I've read.

Oh gosh. I really understand that people are putting a lot of trust in me. I understand the value of money so thats why when I recommend I try to be really clear. This is great for a inoffensive day scent. It will not blow your head off your shoulders. But it could be a I just want to smell clean and fresh and dont want to think scent. My work is available from Maxaroma. He is about to do a 50% off sale on some things this Friday. Then the new stock will be arriving next week.

I bought 100ml at a duty free airport kiosk in Colorado after flying in from Florida for a small summer getaway. That was June 2018, lol. It lasted 2 years, and for a few months I wore it almost every day. Now there's only a few sprays left in the bottle. I'm saving them for reminiscing, for the memory recall experience. Its so sad, all those memories, just a few drops of memories left. But no, I don't think I will buy again. There's something in it that itches my nose and can make me sneeze. Not an allergic response, but it happens before dry down, then no more itchy nose. And it IS worth a sneeze! Maybe even 3 sneezes !!! But I'm strange that way, roses have the same effect, and wet wood. Got medium amount of compliments. Yes, it is a great value, even if I overpaid a little from the duty free. In hindsight, I would definitely buy again, then smash it all over for a few months hahahaha.

I feel 212 has gained momentum after a decade and a half....i see quiet a few positive reviews on it now. Even the deo spray version is praised quite a bit actually

Great review as always. This is one of my favourite freshies HOWEVER wife and daughter hate it. There's something in it that really offends them. Possibly the peppery-ness. So I wear it every day 🤣

I use to have this back in the day and I love it, this was made along time ago early 2000s.

As already mentioned by others, you absolutely need to sample CH Men Prive from Carolina Herrera. It's a dark sophisticated leathery boozy beauty, something a cool leather jacket biker would wear. I would even recommend you to get a full bottle. You wouldn't regret it.

what’s the difference between 212 MEN & 212 VIP?

How you smell Hedione out of it I use also but at its own I cannot smell it, just a very less breeze 🙈

Love this scent. Have a 10 ml decant of this mixed with "tam dao". Other worldly... but yah, this stuff is so good. Have a large collection, and this jam still gets decent play.

For me, it’s like blending CK one with a bit of Millesime Imperial. I think it’s the metallic note. Love it though. Chrome flower breeze while mowing the grass.

This is definitely one my favorites.

Thanks Aaron for this very useful video of CH 212 Cologne. Ive been looking for a grassy, clean, office safe fragrance that actually projects & does not dissappear too quickly. Of course, i have some good freshies already, like Chanel Allure Sport, Blue De Chanel, Dior Eau Sauvage, and so forth. But I want something different to add to my collection. I am dissapointed with with the performances of Dior Homme 2020 EDT; CH Man EDT; all Encre Noires; Burberry Touch EDT; Tiffany & Co Love; and more. So, it sounds like this CH 212 will do the trick for me. I will check it out.

Thoughts on doing Middle-Eastern fragrances? Would love to hear some from you!

212 is a great office scent. Deceptively potent and long lasting.

This is the best review on this frag so far, don't get fooled by some scent vloggers on youtube, it still depends on an individuals taste, but to me this is a timeless frag, great for everyday and street use

Im so pleased. Im trying to educate my viewers to understand how complex perfumery is. There is so much to it. Its not just putting it together. You have to understand each raw material. That was the most of my perfume education. Really understanding what each raw material does. I have been studying perfumery since 2004 and I love passing on my knowledge to all of you. I am very privileged to be working in my chosen field.

I find the chat about regulations and compliance very interesting ... do you know if its internationally regulated, or each country had their own rules?

I deal a lot with the EU. I believe that each zone has a different regulations. I know that USA has a slight different variation. IN the EU/UK you have to have a responsible person to take care of the paperwork. So Maxaroma is my responsible person in the US

I will buy a full size bottle and then donate the amount I spend to one of the charities I support. Coolwater is really safe and would have all the safety documents. So I doubt its that. My thoughts are as followed. If you have been waring this for a long time over a long period daily. You might of developed a sensitivity to it. Its called systemic dermal toxicity. You would of had a immune response to one of the raw materials. But can I suggest laying off it for a about a month and then retrying. I would suggest laying off all fragrance for a minimum of a week to allow the body to calm down. It is summer so it could be the heat. Or lack of hydration. But I always advise to lay off everything for a week and then try again. Hope that helps you. Have a great evening:)

My Carolina Herrera 1 prefer is Chic which came out back in 2003..

When I try to search for this perfume, I see two different boxes. One says 212 men and the other 212 men NYC. The perfume package is identical but the boxes are different. Is it the same fragrance? I got confused.

@@DannyDevitooo someone from a different channel who is a specialist told me it is the same perfume. The box has two sides, one only says 212 men and the other has the NYC on it. 🤩🤩🤩

212 its perfect for the summer. After 1hour it’s smell more better. A lot of girls/guys asking me what cologne I use 😅. Smell better the Original “212” printed. Not glass 212 Men NYC.

One of my favorite

Had this 22 years ago, an 18th birthday present from my girlfriend who I married and still together now! Can't remember it, but can remember receiving compliments and the bottle was really cool.

I used this for like 5 years straight in my teens all the way till i was 22

Your quite an interesting man, I bet your a good conversationalist. I have 2 "stocks" of scents, my dresser scents are the 70 plus that are the niche and designers that I wear for displaying to the world combined with propper atire, who I am . Then In my bathroom I have a stock of what I like to wear after bath, when I'm just in my boxers and tee ready for bed. 212 is one of those scents that I just enjoy smelling on my pillow. I also have Prada Amber, Ferragamo F Black, Prada Lhome and Acqua di Parma Colonia. I associate those scents with being clean, and relaxed, done for the day. Blessings

I used to wear this perfume as a everyday wear. my wife loves this perfume on me, however, you can really see the reaction of the woman and men on the street when they get a whiff of this on me.. maybe it reacts differently to my skin but personally I find that it attracts Asian women & caucasian women... but Indian women or south asian woman find it off putting. like i can sense some anger/ irritation towards me.. lol.. i personally think after repeated occurances that the scent evokes for them feelings of envy/competition like you would when you are in the same room with an attractive/younger member of the same sex.. When it comes to men, the Asian men are super nice and talkative to me.. (maybe i smell like an attractive woman to them) caucasian men, south asian men are friendly too but are more keen to assert their dominace over me when chatting or even just passing each other in the street. (again, perhaps their way of signaling to a potential mate.. who knows) i find this very amusing and also such an alternative approach to understanding human behaviour... just with the power of scent. there are other perfumes i wear that evoke different types of emotions from the public.. but since this is about 212, i will not digress.

GARDENIA IS BEAUTIFUL AND PRETTY ❤❤❤
