Man, you are quickly becoming one of my favourite reviewers, and cool that you are giving 212 some love, an all time classic and hands down the best fragrance from CH (sorry CH Men and Privé). Scentwise, one of the best green scents ever created, as for performance, after who knows how many reformulations, still a beast! You cannot ask for much more... Great review!

its kinda under rated now as kids dont know the value of this.the newer boring summer scents cant beat this beast :)

I still love and owe this more than 14years... still one of my fav & no others brand can replace this scent. Unique smell. Even though not much ppl wear this, but when someone does wear it and walk past, I will smile because they use 212 Men :D

Actually it's a very popular fragrance, it's been in the top 10-20 list since it's release and it's Carolina Herrera flagship scent it's their personal top selling fragrance. Just because you don't smell it much in the community doesn't change anything. It's interesting most men don't wear fragrances.

Very great review. I've been wondering about the 212 fragrance collection for both men and women. Sounds great.

My SOTD yesterday! I always get that "you smell good!" Comment whenever I wear this. I have no complaints with this one. Was a cool 60 degree day out and it was between this and Cool Water.

I picked up the little bottle super cheap from Fragrancenet (blind buy) smells somewhere between good and great and it performs well on my skin and a spray or two on my clothes and I'm good for 8+ hrs easily .. and I've gotten a fair share of compliments. For the price I have absolutely zero complaints

I bought 212 back in December 2022. I have great memories from a holiday years ago wearing this. Difficult to gauge if it's as good as the original because it was so long ago, what I can say however is it smells how I remember and performs really well on me. CH Chic arrived today too, I'm just about to test!

My uncle had a bottle of the original version in the 90’s ... one of the best colognes I had ever smelled as a kid... fast forward to now... I came across this very version ( 212 men nyc ) thinking it was the original ... to me it just don’t have the kick to it like I remember, hence to why I see everyone saying it’s somewhat watered down and has no longevity ... but I’ve read some like it... I want to return it but I may just roll with it to see how it performs ... thanks

i get absolutely no longevity issues with this one. even hours later when i can't smell it & hav returned home my wife is like "why are u spraying on cologne at home?". My rainy day scent along with Cool Water. (which i wore today). If i'm doing something, i go with 212 Men, if it's just a casual runaround, i go with Cool Water

people say that it has performance issues , i was curious , i tried several times before buying it.its a long lasting fragrance and i can see, rainy day will be so good, and sometimes too much of this stuff can be cloying :)

Joy Amin I agree too much can b cloying. Three sprays wrks for me indoors (at least no one complains)... & four sprays outdoors

Hey you should do Carolina Herrera for Men. The one from the early 90's with the polka dot box.

The way this has the fresh green powdery smell ik it sounds boring and genetic but even after owning so many fragrances this is my absolutely favourite. Fucking amazing

@@gurpartapsran2672 I discovered 212 through a customer at a job. It projected well and left a great scent trail and lingered after he was gone. It definitely is not weak 👍🏼

One of the longest lasting fragrance I've used... My 3rd bottle, from top notes to dry down... The silage... Its an all time classic.. Just be careful of not putting too much at a time... A haunting fragrance...

Hope u didn't purchase from grey market. Also the way, temperature at which it's stored in the stores is important. Never buy the one's kept on display with light bulbs around'em. Also skin chemistry differs. U cam try one puff each beneath a 100% cotton shirt and check the longevity. 212 men is such a beast that one may get a whiff even after a wash...

I love to pare 212 Men with a smell alike 212 Men fragrance body oil. With the combo it turns into a Massive projector and long sillage. The scent trail is a Big W😮W !!

Which clone would be good instead of 212 men Carolina herrera

this juice got me hooked into the fragrance game.Still i find it so damin unique. And performance was just great, not sure about current formulation

i left my almost empty bottle in malaysia.thats as good if not better than one million.lasts a long time and sweet fresh green fragrance. very playful.i may do a review with my samples :)

both are good, i get lil longer with 212 men and projection wise i think 212 is a bomb :) smell wise chic for men..performance also very good...id pick chic for upclass and 212 for daily wear

It went down 199 in malaysia

Reformulated ruined watered down crap = current formulation 212, must be the heat that makes it perform because this stuff was gone on my skin within 3 hours and was a skin scent in 15mins. Pleased you get good performance with it Joy 👍hope your well brother.

January 4 2018... right now I'm wearing this.... within 2 hrs it's gone from my skin...and on cloth same result ...no projection no longitivity....but smells beautiful...here it's winter may be because of that I wouldn't get the performance..or I got the fake 212😮??

Yeah i bought a vintage 2007 vintage formulation before the nyc bullshit on the package, unopened or tampered with and it had spoilt, absolutley gutted 😲😕😔

Nope I am using it and it’s only last for 2 hr and projection is hardly 15 minted

agreed dyln bleu it's no performance and very weak. I love 212 for more than 12 years I used it and never hide in my collection.
