I made the mistake of blind buying BDC EDP, YSL Y edp etc and can’t stand them. I have to smell them on my skin before buying from now on.

Le male elixir is a nice reach for me in the weather we are having in the UK right now. V&F Spicebomb Infrared EDP is interesting, I've tried the original and the extreme not really my thing. I'll look for this when I'm next in town thanks guys! Great collab as well!

I only watch this type of content for entertainment and not as a guide because everyone has very different taste buds for perfumery as for everything else, while Aaron is a great perfumer, I’ve heard, he mentioned he hates green perfumery but that’s one of my favorite categories, in the spring time I only wear greens and sometimes also in the summer if it’s not too hot, meanwhile I’m not a big fan of the blue ones.

I love these videos so much. And I think it's cool that you guys have such a different takes and noses for fragrance, but still come together for these clashes of titans 🙂 Love your work! Have a great weekend!

Thanks Chris & Aaron, I agree about Habit Rouge, bought it and sold it, tough wear. But I love TF Grey Vetiver Parfume but prefer the original. Le Mal is great IMO. I gotta tell Aaron I wore his original Tabac yesterday and it is by far my favorite of tobacco fragrances very dark & dirty and ashy as well anamlic stuff a 10 out of 10 for me so glad I scored a 50ML bottle for around $150.00 at Maxaroma before the price increase!! Cheers Mate😎

I have Le Male Elixir and Le Beau Le Parfum. Both are some of my fav fragances of all time. Jean Paul Gaultier and Tom Ford currently my two fav fragrance designers.

I love Aaron's reviews I start my mornings everyday with a new review of his and his voice is like an angel telling me about a new fragrance I saw but know nothing about ❤️

How I wish I could smell through the screen and play along!! I've only smelt le male elixir and spicebomb infrared, and I can guess what the acqua digio would smell like, but the other three lmao I would love to smell too!

I would LOVE to see ATH do a blind test between OG stuff and cheap clones, especially all of the newer Afnan and Lataffa stuff. BdC EDP vs. CDNIM Iconic, Turathi Blue vs. Tygar, Roja Elysium vs. DUA Supernova, etc. It’d be great to see how quickly he’s able to pick which one is the OG and then what differentiates the clone from it.

This time clearly expressed differences of opinion regarding preferences. Aron approached it quite subjectively, where he made sure that the assessment was objective, and Chris immediately pointed out the differences in the sense that one category of consumers likes this and another likes something else

Aaron’s own stuff is amazing. I bought3 small 10ml bottles of w.e I could get my hands on and all 3 are all different and amazing! Ended up buying a big bottle of Luna. Raw cherry is my 2nd fav of the 3 and then Haze Extreme which is also great 👍

Tom ford grey vetiver EDT which is almost impossible to find, (discontinued??) Is absolutely amazing, super clean and a great bright citrus note missing from the newer versions. Such a shame it's gone

Just a quick out of context question if anyone is willing to help, i own a 40ml bottle of ADG Profondo, and i was wondering if it's possible to refill it with the ADG Parfum 150ml bottle "replacement filler". Thanks 😄

Aaron and I are similar in favourite frag profiles; I really dislike greens and almost exclusively wear sweeter scents; JPG le male le parfum is todays smell-juice.

Acqua di Gio Parfum smells great, but for some reason doesn't last on my skin. :( After 2, to 2,5 hours it's almost gone, have to press my nose to my wrist to detect it. 😐

I share Arron's sentiment about Vetiver but with Iris! I just don't like it and can't get along with it. Even find accords of it where it doesn't exist and it puts me off the fragrances (Encre Indigo for example). Shame, because it means I miss out on so many fragrances.

There should be more carrot notes in scents. Fair play that ATH Hayes mass appealing notes, still not sure what he has against Vetiver, not everyone wants or needs super sweet bangers

I smelled it the other day and thought it was awful. Much prefer Night Vision and Extreme.

Im totally with him on the Tom ford, didnt like it at all!

I find it weird how Aaron said he hates smokey vetiver yet had a good opinion on Encre Noire.

He prob hates the 1 note. Butnof it's blended really good with other notes, he may still likenthe overal smell.of the fragrance.

Fragrances are really subjective. Even Aaron knows that which is why he mentioned him developing a green centric fragrance for those who likes it but him personally not. It's when everyone finds a fragrance everyone unanimously likes or love is when we see what a true great or masterpiece is from the so-so. True beauty is universal.

Everybody is hyping Le Male Elixir, but imo it’s overrated. Nothing special.

LOL the French perfume was too strong and unrefined for him, and the perfume he termed ‘French’ due to it being refined was a British fragrance 😂

Perfumery style, not origin. It's either French or Middle Eastern. A Chypre or Fougere can still be too strong or unrefined
