TXT's videos of MAMA dance practices are being uploaded faster and the quality of the videos is improving year by year

I feel TXT uploading their award show practices including camera choreography (to give it a name) so fast after the event is done is their "very good camera" moment. BigHit is always better on camera-work than the events their artists perform in

"they knew mama gonna screw up" lol that make me laugh so hard 🤣🤣

tubatu will always mesmerize me with their performances!! these dance practice/performance videos that they release truly show how much effort the boys and their team put into what they do. They truly are one of a kind and I hope more people can join in on the awesome experience of their artistry.

The way they know MAMA would not do their job properly

I agree that the performance version elevated the song! It made their moves sharper and more isolated for some reason. It gave it the extra umph it needed! I wish MAMA had done the performance justice but I can always count on BigHit to put out a very good camera version👏🏽

Thanks for your analysis! The MAMA cameras did miss a lot... but in general Kpop concert/show cameras zoom in on whoever is singing and they miss the majority of the synchronized/group dancing or big picture concept! It drives me nuts. What are those rain-effect machines when Soobin removes his helmet?! The TXT members mentioned that they didn't love CTF when they first heard it but then it "grew" on them... like it's grown on all of us! Any TXT song where they add live-rock elements makes it better (like the entire Lollapalooza show).

MAMA cameraman has f-up during 2021 MAMA. TXT really posted their performance dance video like 2hrs after their performance. That's how MAMA f-up big time. So TXT always prepare their MAMA dance practice with all this camera move and such. As for TXT special version, yup I want this version too on SPotify along with their other song special version - Can't You See Me Rock version (this only during their concert) - Drama Slow Version (this is in their The Dream Chapter Eternity Concept Trailer) - Blue Hour Dance Break Version (they perform this during Music Show, concert if they have dancers with them, year end show) - Magic Dance Break Version (they have perform this on Lollapalooza 2023, Weverse Year End Concert 2021) - Runaway Orchestra Version (you should check this out) - Runaway Rock Version (if I'm not mistaken it was during Vlive Award Show in 2019)

It was so awesome to finally see a reaction that fit the way I felt when I first watched this practice video!!! I love how you broke down each move instead of just saying "oh that was nice", like I've seen so many others say. I don't usually like watching groups jumping around when I'm wanting to hear them sing, but I absolutely love watching TXT dance. They have something special, for sure!

Mama camera work and lighting was atrocious and they knew the choreo before so zero excuses. Mama in general just snubbed half the industry not inviting groups that are top 10 and highest growth of the year or nominated for token awards when we know they should have been in main categories. The only point to watching stages is to see the great work our groups do and their proper rehearsals like this cause we all know mama will muck it up. I can only assume the camera and lx crew from 2020 left the company (how did we have that intricate elaborate creative staging come to this?) cause this was so cringe with multiple crowd shots during point choreo, catching staff and folks crossing by the camera, idols badly lit at times straining to see, sometimes hazed out of view, it was just disappointing. And as you see and rightly say here the groups and artists and choreographers and dancers work Haaaaaard on these and squeeze into schedules pushing themselves into the small hours and zero sleep for mama lazy ass to just be like oh well we will jiggle the camera here a bit, cut to crowd, close up him oh he’s moved…back to crowd….just unprofessional.

Update that SBS gayeo stages even worse! Cameraman actuall turned to face audience and not even head or focus a mid chest random shot while The Boyz Juyeon was doing a one handed handstand and then again cut to wide audience shot when Enhypen Jungwon did his taekwondo high kick! Not to mention Ten fell down the open trap door on stage and this even had prior knowledge of choreo and stages there is zero excuse for cutting away. Do audience shots to set the scene not during special or point choreo. The director should have had an already planned running list and know where and what to film and cut to. Literally like all these stage shows grab crew off the streets a week before. Grrrrrr it’s so irritating 😠 and disrespectful to ALL the artists, fans and actual working staff.

MAMA had a really bad camerawork like it would just zoom in and out randomly and the whole choreo is missed also during the last part of the performance it showed none of the members it was very plain and most of the choreo was missed .
