I don't know if you'll read this or comment, but: For a while now, I've been thinking TXT are moving into a direction they could very well do a cover and even work with the guys from Linkin Park. I could see this work. The Hybrid Theory/Meteora sound/vibe would make so much sense IMHO.

A baby MOA here! (2weeks in the fandom so far) and without his voice, I won’t be here I swear. I can’t believe that his voice, literally the one who lured me to love this group is discredited 😢 all of them are wonderful singers but I found his style as something unique when it comes to Kpop. Discovered TXT through the song “Everlasting Shine” which is a Japanese song for the opening of Black Clover, it’s like love at first hear, lol but it was not until I was bored one day that I decided to explore TXT. I watched my first actual TXT content when I watched their live performance here in yt and I was planning to see who owns the voice that I’m literally obsessed with for a year now (cause there’s specific Kai parts that I like on that song) and god, I can’t believe what I’m even seeing, he is literally ethereal kind of visual! I was like “how can this be possible?!?”… I expected him to be good looking because he is an idol, but I did not expect THAT? (😭) as crazy as it is, I can see the reason why there’s people who discredit him, it’s because of his visuals like the reason why Margo Robbie was not truly being credited for her acting until her Harley Quinn and Barbie roles, apparently there’s still these people who thinks good looking people will solely rely on their looks and discredit their skills that they worked hard to get…it’s sad. But still I don’t care, I think I’ve fallen in love with TXT and will support them equally, tho yes, Kai is obviously my bias (Lil context: I am good with recognizing voices, musical tone and remembering how things sounds like I believe that is called perfect pitch, but I’m not sure since I can’t tell name of keys in piano and notes cause my family doesn’t see any value for me to learn music plus, my left ear isn’t functioning well because of a childhood incident) Hm… that’s long, thank for reading of you got this far… just a lil rant

Kai is the biggest takeaway for me in this Mama 2023..He understands music, instruments and vocal technique very well and serves it with his extraordinary talent 👏👏

I've always said it, Taehyun's voice will always be my favorite, I love his high notes, I love how he always conveys the feeling of a song, I like everything about his voice... 😭❤️ So hearing Taehyunie's voice shining here makes me feel like it's a victory since I loveee Kang Taehyun with all my heart. 🥺💖

I’m absolutely loving the praise for Huening Kai. He’s been my favorite vocalist from the start. His voice is so comforting and unlike any other I’ve ever heard. I hate that people, even worse moas, love to downplay his talents and want to shove him in the back. He’s shown countless times how incredible of a performer & vocalist he is. He needs, DESERVES, more opportunities to showcase his beautiful voice. I’d kill for him to be on Lee Mujin’s service or something similar.

Your breakdown of Kai's technique was so thorough and gave me a lot of insight in the micro decisions singers make overall ! Im also really happy he's going with a pop-rock sound for his voice. He loves that genre and so do I!

I really think Taehyun and Hueningkai were the best options for singing Endless Rain as the song is originally a rock ballad that X Japan has been performing since a lot ago, they could add this pop rock vibe and their voices are on a similar tone as Toshi's (X Japan's vocalist), just to add as Yoshiki is now a film director beside of musician, composer and producer (and yes, he composed this song more than 30 years ago) I'm completely sure he was sure what to add and what the public would be seeing on stage 😊 As MOA I'm really proud of them and as Yoshiki's fan I can only be more and more happy🎉❤

His life story is also really inspiring. From taking the Gakao (NCEE) test at the age of 16 and getting accepted into the top university for Geosciences in China, to taking Yikao (Art Examination) to pursue music instead and becoming a top scorer in the Fujian province, to busking in the streets and taking up wedding gigs to pay for dance classes and teaching kids music, to flying to Korea and debuting as P01 out of 98 trainees in Boys Planet (thus, becoming the 1st foreign center from an Mnet idol survival show) to breaking several records as part of ZEROBASEONE (ZB1).

Actually, people need to know that Jaehyun is Main Rapper on his group BOYNEXTDOOR and he wrote his own rap on this collab as a present for Woonhak (His Teammates) because Woonhak lost one his family member on his birthday Nov 29, he was on his hardest time because of that, and Jaehyun wrote his own rap verse on endless rain just for Woonhak with hope that he will cheer up again😭💕 Ah, beside that even he is main rapper, at the same time he often to sing a highnote on their song❤

And second xikers, they are a rookie boy group, they had their debut this year and you 100% would not realise they are rookies if you just listen to them and watch them perform, really, their mama stage was immaculate but if you're looking for something a little bit more vocal based I really recommend their rockstar and homeboy stages, but really both the vocalist and rappers shine in all their songs!!! No not really, he was not confident in the past and nowadays he's getting out of his shell and unlike before where he hesitated in front of opportunities, he started taking them on and not being that afraid to showcase himself....bighit actually was giving him a lot of solo acts and centers at yhe start (even their first award shows he was thr one given the solo dance part instead of yeonjun for example), it was so that he becomes more confident qnd get more experience....he's just the type who hides himself if he senses that what he shows might not be perfect (the opposite of Taehyun in this case for example who just faces every opportunity head on even if he might do mistakes or not be perfect, he just gakes it as a learning opportunity)....i'm glad that Kai is getting loose nowadays and not thinking too much about stuff and just displaying his abilities...

Why blame his agency? That's not how it works 😂 he's grown in both ability and confidence, so we get to see more of what he can do now. kai is SO SO underappreciated for his vocals... he was not confident with his voice back then. this cb has shown kai's improvement... hes popping out of his shell and confident with it. many people let down kai for his vocals before but he showed us that my man is a MAIN VOCAL TOO...

My fav moment from the MAMA was actually this Yoshiki collab performance. I also loved the moment where Sooyung teared up after seeing the pink ocean.

Endless Rain came out in 1989 and a classic jpop song. 1997 when X Japan disbanded and had the last concert (only 1) at Tokyo Dome the audience repeated the two lines for a full 10 minutes hoping they didn't have to disband. After getting the award, Yoshiki had to rush off for bandmates farewell ceremony (funeral service). So far X Japan has 3 members passed away, only 3 still living. Yoshiki is the leader, drummer, pianist, composer of X Japan. He did a classical tour in October and his new rock band The Last Rock Stars had a tour in November. Not bad for 58yrs. You can check out the original singer Toshl of X Japan sing this song as a comparison.

Only I and my neighbors know how hard I cried at Endless Rain. Before I knew "kpop" (rock actually), I knew jpop and rock. X Japan was my band. That last live at the Tokyo Dome. The audience chanting Endless Rain a capella is engraved in my heart. I was watching MAMA on and off, I saw Yoshiki take the stage and I realized it was the Tokyo Dome... Then he started playing and I lost it, then Taehyun and Hueningkai started singing and they did honor the song so beautifully. Toshi will be proud. I remember KR idols didn't show much, but JP ones know and they were equally emotional. It was a wonderful moment that night. If not THE moment to be honest.

Yoshiki is the leader and drummer of X Japan. Iconic and the standard of drumming. Endless Rain is X Japan song. I suggest a look into their discography. :)

Do check out Riize(pronounced as Rise), they’re the first new boy group under SM entertainment after 7 years or so. Some of their members were active in NCT for a while but then redebuted under Riize. They’re a very solid group especially for rookies.

It’s okay" He revealed that these lyrics were written for Woonhak (maknae of BOYNEXTDOOR), as a birthday gift for him as a cheer up verse, since he lost his grandfather recently.

Zhang hao is a music teacher btw he teaches violin 😭 (he has an official certificate to teach high school students). He's the center, main vocal, and one of the best dancers in zb1 too 🥺 one more: he's crazy smart, he ranked 1 in his province's college entrance exam. What can he not do 😭
