Best lift kit on the market, especially for the can am’s . Be interested to see how it hold up for you guys I have never had a issue.

It’s actually very good. They add a spacer to the axle so your not stressing the the joints. We know of a few people running this lift with large tire setups with no issues

Are you running aftermarket axles on the back? Mine wont get full travel and binds mid upwards travel on the diff with the spacers installed... demon axels

Yes the 500 has aftermarket axles. We also have demon in our other ATVs. Are you putting in the axle spacer?

Stock 30x9x14 cryptids from an XMR on 14” Sedona Rukus wheels. XMR cryptids don’t measure true to size. They’re closer to 28”

I am buying a new 23' Can Am Outlander 850 XT Max and installing the PERFEX 2" lift and PERFEX 1" wheel spacers. I am not into going into deep mud but want clearance to avoid rocks. The stock tires are 26 x 9/11 x 14. What would be the largest tire size you would recommend without putting too much strain on other components. Should I install a clutch kit for your recommendation? Thanks! - Dan

The 850 can handle up to 30-32” no problem without clutching but you run into clearance issues. Clutching mostly help with getting the power your making to the ground more efficiently and effectively which in turn makes the machine accelerate harder and faster. The largest you can go without needing floorboards is about 28-29” on an Outlander. With the 850 and that size tire you most likely don’t need any clutch work at all with minimal power loss. If you do decide to get some clutching, we don’t recommend clutch kits for these machines. The stock primary clutch does not respond well to a clutch kit. We recommend at least upgrading to a Cvtech or the new 3P Icon primary clutch.

We just took both the 500 and 650 to busco Beach, and they did great.
