I like how you used the terms a layman is familiar with e.g. 'tin tomatoes', 'fresh tomatoes' etc and not confuse us with 'tomato puree', peanut oil and the rest of the terms other bloggers use. Well done

I just try to cook it as I was watching your tutorial.. But without socking the beans and at the end its taste good but the beans was stonge as hell!! Now I understand why u leave the beans for 24 hours before cooking!! Am a barcelor i just try to help my self . But I think is better I get a woman that can't cook like you.. Anyway thanks!!

Hahaha... even if you don't want to soak the beans, you can cook it longer before adding the rice.

Did you parboil the rice or just added hot water to it?

Just the hot water and I let it sit till when I wanted to add it to the pot, then I washed it well with a clean cold water.
