I’m 47, and Peter has been my favorite musician since I first heard him as a 12 year old. I honestly felt his records with the orchestra and the subsequent two years of touring with them were some of the absolute best works of his career. It's such a beautiful rendition of a classic Bowie song. Peter G re-did it for orchestra. Still has a great voice. Most of his stuff is magic.

Beautiful song

Peter previously recorded an orchestral album of songs that influenced him called "Scratch my back" & this was one of them, the great David Bowie classic. He performed them along with some of his own material on this concert tour with "The Red Blood orchestra" it was superb & it was really interesting to hear these great songs arranged for orchestra. Peter never stops pushing the boundaries.

I remember after watching the wall fall in Berlin in 1989 the absolute beauty of that moment! Then when visiting Berlin years later and this song came on it just brought me to complete tears again!

The original version of HEROES is a great rock song by David Bowie, it's about two lovers meeting beneath the Berlin Wall, which was built by the Soviets to keep people from leaving the socialist part of the city. Bowie was credited for contributing to the public sentiment that brought the wall down in 1989. Peter definitely did David Bowie's song justice...I LOVE this version the best!!

Bowie’s version is still my favorite because it’s the original and also I grew up with it, but damn Peter Gabriel’s is almost as good, it brings me to tears without fail every single time.
