I started cutting,y hair a few days ago. I should have left it alone yesterday because I’ve made a mess of it now. Cut too much off the sides. I wish I had watched a few tutorials first.

My mom is a retired stylist, I’ve been to numerous salons and I’ve been going to my current stylist for years...none have been able to cut a side bang. So, I’ve done it myself for years. I’ve watched thousands of videos, but this one is on the money!! Where have you been all my life!?! Thank you so much!💋

I have had bangs nearly my whole life , I had to laugh at your comment, "bangs can be moody" 😂🤣 how true. And I have always felt the bangs always need more attention, and skill.

Man you have perfect timing. I'm retired after 30 years and my 18 year old daughter just asked me to cut her bangs. I've been doing her bangs most of her life but I have noticed just lately how heavy they're looking. So thank you so much for having spot on timing.

Well, I have gone to beauty salons to get my bangs cut and have taken pictures to show them what I want and I get something totally different. So, yes your tutorial has been very helpful, muchas gracias!

Many thanks I recently went to my local hairdresser who is stuck overseas, I got the usual hair cut long down to my back with apparently swept fridge only to come home and realise it was cut very straight, due to my heavy brunette hair this made it even heavier. Too afraid to go back, I took up the challenge of bravery watching your video and, WA’la many thanks to you my hair looks amazing !

My mom began to cut her bangs w/o previous knowledge and I insisted on her to watch this. It was vvhelpful ! Quarantine brought us here. Tyyyy

The last time I rocked the bangin bang look I was 12. I too am bored of living the quarantine lifestyle and want to do something different and drastic. I went to the salon for them to fix the side of my head that I shaved today and the lady said I did a great job on my bangs that she didn't even need to touch them! Perfect video, ty for sharing! I’ve cut my own hair before, and I bleach it platinum on my own, but I can’t ever seem to get the weight off the parts I want to. I keep my hair long, and I always run a “test” cut by taking off way less than I intend to remove, just to make sure that it’s still long enough to have some wiggle room once I get it right. I was done and happy by the end of the video, and that time included a follow-along test cut, seeing it work, and going through with doing it the length I wanted. Stylists like you are a godsend! I can’t ever seem to find anyone to do anything the way I want. Saving this one for next time 🙌🏻💖

The shortest section does NOT sweep with the rest of the fringe. Can't imagine a customer who wants a finish like that. But maybe one day there will be one...or never.

I did hairdressing n I get u haha it takes some time to get it right especially on ur self I gave myself sweeping side fringe not long ago half way through I styled it then finished it off dry, easier this way I think 😁nice video

Can you do a video on cutting side swept bangs for a round face, thin hair and receding hairline with large forehead? It’s a mouthful of course but also if the bangs can be thicker looking ( going back more) with lots of volume on top of head. Hair is shoulder length... or even offer some tips in a message thru messenger or a reply here would be great. @@lovedancingxoxoxoxo9843 I'm sorry but hes not wrong. I have my cosmetology license, this is correct. But.. its always a lot different when your doing a style/cut on yourself, instead of someone else. Takes a lot of practice and patience.

I have never heard of bangs, I’ve always called it a fringe!

Everything your saying is exactly what I try to explain to every salon I go to and they always say some bs like how I don't know what I want or thats not how bangs are cut or I went to school for cutting hair I've been doing it for --- years 🤔....... yeah but I did research to see what I want and I've had these bangs for many years and thats what I want!!!!! But every time they cut them they make them straight across and style them that way or they cut them to short and blow-dry them under so they don't swoop they always curl under. its so hard to find someone to cut them properly.....
