    Yes, more videos like this!! You should do a video about setting up voice meter banana with a dual PC streaming setup (if you haven't already). Specifically when using only one USB mic. It is possible, but I'm sure a lot of people aren't sure how to do it. Thankfully I found a way to make it work, but I've seen the question 'how can I use a Yeti for dual PC streaming' asked very frequently online.

    i've been streaming to twitch for a few years now and i have to say this channel has helped me a lot. I was looking into a lot of expensive stuff because i heard it was the best and X streamer uses it. because of this channel I've been able to rationalize everything. I was going to pay $400 for a dynamic mic that I've seen so many people use and another $600 for the pro mixer to use it, but now i'm sticking with my current mic and when i'm ready upgrading to the go xlr and later on just a decent dynamic mic. This channel has saved me so much money by just being up front about everything. Thank you!

    What about using the goXLR with console while streaming on a pc with a capture card?

  • @tyisafk

    @tyisafk

    4 жыл бұрын

    That's what I want to know too. I got a Yamaha MG10XU specifically because it has RCA inputs. The problem is that EVERYTHING is fed as 1 input as far as Windows can see, which is very unfortunate. If I equalize my microphone for my voice using a DAW and virtual audio cable, the console's audio is gonna get destroyed because it's seen as the same input as what the microphone is pushing to the PC. Currently I feed my console into Line In on my PC and use OBS to adjust it as a workaround. I assume you'll be fine if you use the Line In port on the GOXLR. Most interfaces are great if you only stream on PC, going as far as using emulators for retro games, but when you want to use all hardware, it seems like it becomes very difficult. The MG10XLR would probably be a perfect mixer if it simply had that functionality for Windows to see every single line of input as a separate device on Windows. Or at least to DAWs with the proper drivers installed.

    Scott Thompson So, what i did to get around this (on my Yamaha mixer) was get an hdmi audio extractor. Basically another box in the HDMI chain. It will extract the audio and send it to a separate audio cable (for me aux) and that was plugged into another input on the Yamaha mixer. From what i can see with the goxlr. There is a optical port, which i assume is a line in. You can plug the console into that via optical and then adjust with the PC app fader. I just ordered mine and should be here today from Amazon and i will try to confirm this theory.

    Haagrid I to have the same headset but I feel though I am doing something wrong because the audio in game just sounds rough. I am using a ground loop isolater that’s not the type of problem I am having though. I don’t know how to explain it we’ll but the audio coming in with the 3.5 jack just doesn’t sound right. It’s very very loud almost tinny and if I try to lower the sound on the go xlr then it gets too quiet. What I am wondering is, when using the 933 do you think I should go into Windows setting and disable it as a listen device so that way just to be sure I am not getting twice the audio or something? I’m just not sure about the whole thing. How do you have yours setup?

    Hey Harris, being an audio guy, this is by far the BEST explanation of EQ, Gate, Compression and De-Esser that I have ever heard! I've just got the Go XLR and for what I need, ie voice over work, recording as-live radio links and live streaming, it's almost perfect. I had a Presonus Studiolive 32SC which was way overkill. Then went to the RCP 1. I've just sold that and bought the Go XLR as a replacement. So glad I did! Thanks again. Paul

    Brother! God Bless you and your wife. You have been amazing since I started watching you. You are full of information and I see that you love your viewers and always willing to help. You are literally the only person I trust when it comes to this kinda stuff. I waited 6 months before I can finally get my hands on the GOXLR due to high demands and lack of labor from Covid19. I can tell you right now. I absolutely love it. With this video, It's helped me understand more. I have the Quadcast mic and was looking at the 2020 from Audio Technica. I want an XLR mic not USB. Again, sold out just like every other thing on Amazon. You are the best man. Always pray and wish for a long and healthy life for you both. You sound like a very humble man.

    Can I just say a massive Thank You! I have been running the GoXLR with a Rode Procaster for awhile now, It certainly made my audio alot better. However after following this guide my audio quality has made a massive improvement and is now on point. Couldn't believe just changing a few things could make such a massive difference. Thanks very much :)

    This video has been a game changer for me. The videos put out by the company are pretty decent, but they don't go into the kind of "ELI5" details that I sometimes need. Thank you for this. I finally sound pretty good on stream. Sadly, the EQ can only do so much for my goofy voice, but it is a lot better than before.
