PERFECT SHOT on My #1 Buck! | The Story of Nifty
Спорт
Rex has been known to kill some big deer on the HB farm and this season is no different. Rex had his eyes set on the number 1 Hitlist buck of the season "Nifty Nine" and after many many hours of hunting he connects with a buck we have a lot of history with!

That was my season. Hours and hours on stand, over 350 deer seen on stand, just never had the encounter with my target buck "Needles". Hope to find some sheds once the snow clears. Keeps you coming back boy...

Well done
I dont think I've ever seen fetching fall off like that lol.
Awesome. Good stuff as always. Interesting that y’all like the late season in Missouri rather than the rut. Makes perfect sense. Everyone wants to hunt the rut but deer seem more predictable during late season on food sources.

@@HeartlandBowhunter of course, and thank you very much! I have a bow that I’m getting setup to me and don’t have a sight yet just looking into the options once again thank you
It was very interesting how in slow motion right before the shot he raised his head and you could see the front shoulder slide forward. It would have been in the way if the shot would have happened at that time. You might have still got penetration but you might not have. I learn so much from the quality of your video. Please keep up the great work.

Great observation. It's incredible to look back at footage and see how animals all react differently. Thank you for watching and the comments!
Great buck! From ohio
When you guys burn in April, did I see that right? You burn going into your woods? Do you guys have concerns with a tree catching on fire or does it naturally just burn around the base of tree and move on? We just bought a farm in northern Missouri last year and would like to do something similar. Nifty is a stud, congrats and great video. Ryan in Michigan

Hey Ryan, congratulations on the new farm purchase! The fire usually burns around the base of the trees but might leave some scarring on the bottom of the tree if the fire is hot enough. That is dependent upon the humidity levels, fuel load and how dry the ground is. If the tree is dead it will sometimes carry up the tree. It is important to make sure all fires are out upon leaving the prescribed burn area. I would encourage doing your research, taking a class and having a lot of help on hand before completing your first prescribed fire.
The deer can hear your music.
Where do you hunt in Missouri I’m in se Missouri

Top I ❤❤❤❤❤
What's up with the slow mo?
Folk don't understand the last 2 weeks of October and first 2 weeks of November. They'll be chasing
Nice buck but you better do a better job fletching cause if one of those would of come off before it hot there probably wouldn't of hit him we're you wanted
turn that bow of yours down a little bit.....should not have to struggle to pull straight back....
Who weights their deer with the guts in??? Apparently only people in the south? Lol 240# equals...a still respectable 170-180 maybe REAL WEIGHT!

When we have the opportunity to hang our deer like this we don’t gut them at all. We skin them and take the meat off that night. That’s why the guys were left in to weigh him.
We really have to get away from baking the bucks. It's so effeminate.
