perfect inside miter joint hack - baseboard molding install
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I will show you a hack to get perfect inside miter joint / cut for baseboards, skirting boards and crown molding. This is the easiest way to get fast and easy perfect joints without any gaps. The inside corner of the wall is very rarely exactly 90 degrees and as a result your joints will not line up properly. Through using a flap disk on a grinder we can quickly use a coping technique to get perfect miters every time. LIKE COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE for more videos. #DIY #howto #billshowto

I was frustrated with this problem since I recovered your VDO, now…I am no more stressed. Thank you so much.
You have no idea how much more comfortable you just made me regarding the inside corners. First time doing baseboards so was a bit nervous. This is awesome! Thank you for the direction.
No matter how many times I measure. I will never get that perfect cut. You, my friend, are a genius. Thank you!
I watched many videos on KZread on how to do this and no one explained this and demonstrated this as clearly as you do not to mention the use of the angle grinder was pure genius. This video was a life saver for me!
Wow, just wow......I don't know whether I should laugh or cry, as I reflect on the last 13 years of my life.

BILL THIS VIDEO NEEDS 1million LIKES. Thankyou!!!!!!!
Genius... Always had a problem with this and coping is just to time consuming. You really have sorted a major problem for me... Thank you
Just tried this and it worked ridiculously well! Close to perfected after using the flap disc on the angle grinder, and a little sand paper made it a perfect fit. Inside corners will be very easy going forward! 👍

I’m glad you enjoyed the video 👍
This is actually brilliant. Before you started I was thinking yeah scribing it and using a coping saw is the way it's going to be done, the only way it can be done. What a great surprise. Thanks for the video 👍🏻
No I'm a female and have no clue and I wanted to try the base board install myself and I searched YT for many videos just getting me frustrated UNTIL I came across this video and OMG....the I install I did looks better than the guy that did ours years ago. I have NO GAP and the other guys that did ours years ago has major gaps so now I'm going to redo them all thanks to this wonderful gentleman explaining and the outcome is so beautiful. I can barely see any gap! HANDS DOWN THE BEST VIDEO!!!!
Thank you for the excellant tip. You are boon to the home handyman. I got so frustrated thinking I was crap at cutting a degree joint despite any tool I bought. Awsome, now I don't have to buy my filler in gallon containers.
best presentation I've seen so far. No muss, no fuss, just usable information. Thanks
Best video and explanation by far and I have watched TOO many to get this technique down. Thanks.
Hi, that sanding bit is the key, much easier then coping for sure, im sold thank you 😊
Wow dude!! I’ve spent 30min going through useless videos where no one really shows anything useful for a simple DIYer (without specialist saws) and here you pop!! This has saved me a lot of frustration and anger!!
I worked with some amish guys 20 years ago ,and i learned this from them, (coping saw)but i haven't done it in so long, and now I'm back doing handyman work and this will be what I'm doing monday morning,Thanks for the refresher!👍
Bloody brilliant! A flap disc. Duh. I'm sitting here looking at all the cuts I need to make without a miter saw and not really feeling the coping saw and thinking 'can't i use my multi tool or grinder?" and you come along and make my wishes come true. I'm subscribing, Bill, because you just saved me so much time and trouble.
