In this video I show you how to make a perfect fit bowtie with minimum chiseling using laser engraver to make a template. I don't want to advertise any brand but have to say it has a 12 watt optical power laser head, it's enough to cut 6mm plywood in 3-4 pathes. The software I use with my laser engraver - Lightburn

Thank you Gregory. For all folks out there without a laser, you can also use a 3D-printer. Almost all my jigs that need some level of precision are done with a template out of my 3D-Printer. If it has to be somethink more durable and sturdy, I tape it to a piece of (ply)wood and make a long-life-jig...

I guess if someone has no cheap china laser, they won’t have 3d printer as well…although you are right.

@@optload Well a 3D-Printer is more versatile for the most people than a laser. So more common. And I got my 3D printer for 120$. In this pricerange you don't find a laser which cut through materal so thick... Although I have to admit for this price you neither can buy a 3D-Printer anymore...

Minimum chiselling eh? Great, so now I just have buy a table saw, bandsaw, router, high power laser, buy the software... Think I'll stick with the chisel.
