PERFECT DAY Exploring OXFORD, England! (inc. Airbnb Tour)

Welcome to Oxford, England! This is a quick and easy day trip from London and a great city to explore for a day or two. We started with lunch at the Covered Market, then headed over to check out St Marys Church and Radcliffe Camera - an iconic building and focal point of the city. We also give a quick tour of one of our favourite airbnb we've ever stayed (in Chippenham).
We absolutely loved our day trip to Oxford and would recommend at least one full day to check out this wonderful, historic city.
We hope you enjoy this walking tour vlog of Oxford, England! ~Kristy & Steve

Great videos guys! For a lot of cities (especially Oxford) it may be worth using the Park and Ride buses to save you on parking fees. Basically they are large car parks a mile or so out the city centre with a regular cheap or even free shuttle bus to take you in and out of the centre. 👍🏻

National speed limit is 70mph, so motorways and deregulated roads (white circle with black border and with diagonal black line through it) on dual carriageway, and 60mph on single carriageway, unless otherwise posted... A lot of the minor roads you'll find are deregulated 60mph...

Driving wise we use Miles per hour. The motorway is officially 70 but a lot of people push that as most police won’t stop you unless your over 10% over the speed limit. But a lot of motorways are now having smart camera’s installed which will get you! So stick to 70 mph on motorways. Otherwise just look for the road signs. And it’s all in Miles per hour. Lovely following you. So glad your getting to see more than just London! You’ve certainly got some good spots!

Thanks so much for this information! In Australia we have speed signs everywhere along the motorways )indicating how fast to go) so we were quite confused driving in the UK and just sat on a comfortable speed relative to the other cars. Good to know for next time we visit! Thanks for watching and following along our journey 😀

@@KristyandSteve No problem, loving the video’s. Occasionally you may get amended speeds on motorways, if there is traffic ahead or debris in the road and then you’ll see the amended speed limit displayed on the gantry’s that go over the motorway. You need to stick to these so watch out for them when motorway driving. Best wishes for the rest of your travels. From Warwickshire. 😃
