Killer wave! I miss the wedge more than anything. Thanks for bringing me back 30 years . I ve ridden their with Mike Stewart, Jay Reale, Eric, and Mike Huseman, Ron Zebell and many other rippers back in the day.

@@adonis1934 Chad rips. I don't know exactly when he started riding there and I didn't see him ride in person. I saw him later, watching old videos. Tell Chad I had the clowns from BodyCat wetsuits trying to get me to ride for them. He's going to laugh 😂

I was 15.Bill McKenna was on the Huntington beach surf team with me and was the guy who showed me the Wedge. Bill Hepner, Joe Foster, Chris Cunningham

Yes @ Newport Beach, San Clemente ( trusles), makapoo beach, sandies, surfers point Ventura, and lastly some other spots in San Diego back in the day…. It is and always be a religious experience when the adrenaline kicked in and suddenly the world noise goes silent as the wave envelopes you 😁 always have and will be a soul surfer good luck at finding the right wave, cause when your out there it doesn’t matter how long or how many rides you get just as long you get one really good ride. I have had many days and evenings just waiting in breaks for a set that felt right. Yeah some people get too caught up in the rush but it’s in there in natures fury you find inner peace. There was days when I got barreled several times and some just once a day but remember it’s not about the destination it’s all in the journey take care mate.

It's a sucky wedge. A big A frame peak to a shoulder, ramp or close out. Usually all 3 at once. Idk what to say bro, it's not that rare. Most places have a wedge wave like this either left or right. But then I live on a Pacific island that has some f##Kn gnarly waves.

I’m 14 and been doing body boarding since 6 years old but I’m unlucky I go to Spain to do it but the part when I’m at yeh waves can get 30 ft once every few years but the form of the wave is rubbish
