Hello Kevin, I'm a big fan. You're a great painter. I just wanted to say I don't know if you ever tried Water Mixable Oil Paints but you might like them if you try them. Peace

Good advice for beginners...I started out when Kevin first offered full lessons and did all of his beginner lessons...several times..and all of his technique series...last yr I've done all of his advanced lessons...now I create compositions..refer back to his KZread videos for specific techniques..and his full lessons...one thing I've learned..is to really watch the lessons first..and having watched all of Kevin's KZread vids more then once helps...also..having three brushes of each while painting a full composition...helps..no need to clean brush...there's no contamination to get mud..it just makes the process fun..easier..cleaner colors...looking forward in Kevin's new lessons this yr...hoping for his last 4-6 latest ones on here...the winter ones..seascape and such. .have fun..really if you go thru the techniques..watching how he does it..and really listening..then practicing...you'll get better..just as anything ..Happy New year everyone...May you create..and paint..

Yes, I also find that when doing painting tutorials that watching three times before attempting makes it amazingly easier! During the third run through I pause and gather everything I see used. And during the second run through I take notes. Happy Painting!
Kevin, ty so very much! Seeing u wipe away but still leave an area u can highlight is quite a time saver!!!!!! Great job thinking to show this to us!!!
Yo... the result of this painting that takes you 20 min to do.. looks exactly like mine after a month of work.... loll .

Hello sir ...even. I am from India. ...u are a great artist keep doing artistic works
I so enjoyed learning to do kevin's lessons on painting. Wow! He is so talented and his work is definitely beautiful. He also has an awesome teaching ability. Thank you Kevin for sharing your beautiful work with beginners like me. You are such a blessing for me to witness such beautiful paintings!!! Keep them coming!!!!
This turned out absolutely lovely... a painting I would proudly hang in my home. I am far from an artist, but when I paint, this is usually how I go about it. I don't like long, drawn-out anything because I have so many ideas on what I want to get done... so I tend to paint faster and get it done so I can go on to the next idea... which may or may not be painting. I currently have two paintings that I need to finish but that I began about two years ago... they are of the "drawn-out" variety (one is oil, the other is acrylic) and consequently they wait to be completed. Too many ideas... not enough time... and an illness to conquer as well... makes for full days, long nights, and a rather up and down life. :)
That was way fun! Thanks for the treat!
Thank you so much for sharing. I am a beginner and I use acrylics. I learn a lot from you, Kevin. Oh I see you teach acrylic painting as well, I am so lucky.
Thank you for this. I'll try it soon. I like that you are going so fast because I have a tendency to get real OCD....unnecessarily so. Perfectionism inhibits creativity (for me). I appreciate your videos very much.
Love you Kevin for thr spontaneity and super fast talking that goes along your subtle work.
Hi Kevin. You’re videos are awesome, almost effortless for you. Thank you for sharing your talents.
You're my fave painter ❤ showed this video to my husband so he could follow along and now hes thinking of painting more with me!

Kevin , you truly are an artist. I watch you painting with awe! Dab dab dab, and a tree appears. I wish I can create something so beautiful.” Even in my dreams I can’t believe I can do it.

LOVED IT!!
that was great man!!
Tan hermoso en tan poco tiempo, felicitaciones!!
That was awesome, Kevin. It came out better than expected to be honest with you ;)
Go Kevin!!
I've started with water then moved to acrylic cause it's easier to layer but the down side is it dry's out to fast oils seem more better especially if I'm just painting from the top of my head very helpful video thanks.
I'm new at painting and absolutely love it.
Kevin you have great handling of the brushes...I found..as I'm a brush hoarder that you 1&2 inch brushes can be used with beveled edge for a sharp..or flat use..and...you can splay the ends for that grass look..and for other things like shrubs and such...not many of these 1-2 inch allow for this...many are made too stiff... Anyway...nicely done...lovely mountains...
Wow amazing!
This painting is so good when you look at it from far away it looks like a real photograph
Waooo you make it so easy, i like the way you teach. Thanks
I do enjoy painting. You do great work. I hope i can remember your instructions tomorrow when i can paint. Thank You. woah It is 2024 now.. I've forgotten about this.
Bravissimo come sempre 👍👏👏👏
It's awsome!
