@@akshayhazari6570 what are you? 5? there's no such thing as "evil" people unless if you're a literal criminal. evil is the most childish word to use for people on some dating show. yes, many people (not just women) are not perfect and quite a few of them do not come off as nice on shows like this. but it's a show dating that conceptualizes the fear of rejection. people will reject others simply because they don't want to face rejection themselves. even if they are attracted. that's a normal response. if you leave them in a normal dating setting, most of them won't be outright rejecting anyone like this. a small percentage are actually awful people but it has nothing to do with gender.

Well, in India that's a common response to a compliment. If someone would say that my hair looks good or anything else, I would immediately reply by a thank you followed by everything about you is looking good. We all do this. That's just a way of taking compliments here.

Wow. That was a great episode. Brandon obviously felt bad about rejecting Shelsy but it was the honest thing to do. He wasn't attracted to her. Almost as if chance were rewarding him for being a good dude, Jazlyn walks in and lights up at the sight of him. Those were instant sparks between those two. There's something so wholesome and hopeful about that.

​​@@persiavalen4379 Um, speaking as someone who spent several years teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to immigrants here in America, yes, it is. Try learning Mandarin (Chinese). Not just a few sentences, but enough to be fully fluent in day to day life. I've done so, and the difficulty level is about the same. Meaning not easy. ETA: It is, however, significantly easier to learn any language if you begin learning it - or at least having exposure to it - as a child. My spouse speaks five languages. All of which he began learning as a child. He's now learning Japanese, which has been made significantly easier because he learned so many other languages while young.

Doing this with people who speak ASL would be so fun to watch

Also if the parents arent speaking their mother tongue anymore and noone is making any efforts to stay connected to their language culture or region, then you are effectively English speaker and not a Bengali speaker or even Bengali person. Idk if I’m just biased as a Spanish speaking American, but I feel like Spanish is such a common language in the USA that this concept would go better without it included. It's so crazy that they would upload this now because I literally just had this experience in real life last week! I was on a work trip so I was staying in a hotel for the week, and I met someone at the hotel who was also there for the week for work. We both found each other attractive, but he primarily spoke spanish, barely understanding English enough to form sentences. My second language is French (this took place in Canada), so we really had to use gestures and find words that sort of sound the same in our languages to be able to understand each other, and it was both frustrating at times, and exciting. Just a really cool coincidence to see the experience represented in a video just a week later 😊
