adhd doesnt experience mania, which is major misinformation and it made me actually feel quite sad for the other person :( mania is only experienced by those with bipolar disorder and its kind of harmful to spread the idea that mania is something experienced by most neurodivergents, because mania and euphoria/high mood are not the same thing, even remotely :(( it made me a bit sad to see her mention that just as someone who has bpd and the research ive done myself on the disorder for my own purposes, plus been informed from by my psych, therapist and doctor

I actually think bp2 is pretty comparable to severe adhd in terms of how much one might struggle/ how much their quality of life might be affected by the diagnosis. I agree bp1 is in a different wheel house though
