Ойын-сауық

In this short film, Ho-Chunk Nation Chief Winneshiek is joined by Jon Greendeer, the Executive Director of Heritage Preservation for the Ho Chunk Nation. The two share how everything the Nation does - to advance their business and their people - has meaning behind it and is done with great intention. The video was produced by HBG Design in honor of our Ho-Chunk Nation client.

Thank you for sharing this story of the Ho-Chunk Nation people. In June 1963 I was part of a small group from the Fort Worth Texas area who attended a youth camp on the banks of Robinson Creek at Fall Hall Glenn south of Black River Falls. We spent a couple weeks at the camp and Ho-Chunk People visited us. I enjoyed our time there in your beautiful country and interaction with the Ho-Chunks.

I thought our casino came from Minnesota. That’s why we had that golden nickel on emblem in beginning. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

This comment is a little off putting..the Ho-Chunk peoples use the casinos and similar businesses to help their people financially. It’s a little crazy that people think that these casinos and other businesses shouldn’t exist when it impacts so many indigenous lives in a positive way. You may not be saying that but you shouldn’t be so negative with comments like this. Please do some research.
