I used to work on heavy equipment, on location I would drive by dozer operator sometimes point at their tracks and tell them they had a flat and 8 out 10 times they would all glance down at one of their tracks. Look back up and flip me off. Oh, what fun times lol.

@@Dmedinschi we all know. The commentator said he was pranked because he needed to be using an air compressor not a hand pump. Those are solid Trac tires, an air compressor wouldn't help either vs hand pump. So ya understand us. We do the same prank here in the U.S. 🇺🇸

In the US too. We had a new guy and he and the boss were setting up his computer. A cable wasn't long enough so the boss told the new guy to go to maintenance and get a cable stretcher.

0:19 I've done this once when I pick up the leaves on one of my clients lawns in a trailer court and I quickly noticed my mistake and zipped up the zipper real quick and cleaned up the shredded pieces of leaves. Edit: I was wondering why my leaf bag catcher wasn't getting heavy and I noticed it wasn't zipped up.

I did something similar. I was vacuuming out a fireplace with a shop vac. I did the whole fireplace before I noticed that there was NO filter in the vacuum, which meant all the ash dust went into the living room. Wife unit was not pleased with me...

@@61rampy65 I had a friend who would use coal in his fireplace, and used a shop vac to clean the ash. I never stopped to see if it even had a filter. But his stereo had an inch of coal dust on it.

8:45, I don’t actually understand what he was trying to do. Either he’s not aware you don’t have to climb to the top rung to use a ladder, or he just wanted to see what angle he could get it to before it slipped (if so, I’m impressed with how low he got it)

It's unbelievable how some people can mess up the simplest tasks. This compilation of "People Had One Job and Failed" is both hilarious and frustrating to watch. It's a good reminder to always double-check your work!

The clip where the guy empties the barrow after its just filled is actually valid. I laughed at a similar video once only to find out that sometimes you need to use the narrow as a measurement in construction. Eg. 2 barrows of cement vs a barrow of sand etc.

4:30 I have had MANY bosses walk up and hand me an inadequate piece of gear, expecting me to do a job like that. And then they look at me funny when I say, "Sounds good to me! You DO remember I get paid by the hour, right?"

I've worked for companies like that. There's saying something like, we are so used to doing so much with so little, we can everything with nothing. But they were playing a joke on the guy in the video, there's no place to put air in those tracks.

Squaddie was told to tighten the tank tracks by moving the wing mirror holder up n down ( he was at it for 3 hours until a officer came past and asked a corporal what the hell the Squaddie was doing)

Had a old lady drive down between our barriers a 4 lane road we were repairing. Drop down on a lane of process base that was 18" lower than the road continue on to a driveway crossing the road with m po uns of base material on each side 6' high. Fail trying to drive over them proceed to back up for another attempt to hit a ma hole cover we set the day before knocking it off its bed and her car ended up hanging on it by its frame with 3 wheels off the ground. Ran over to her car to see if she was ok then she asks what's wrong with the road she drives here everyday and never saw it in such disrepair ! Ummm Mamm you're in our jobsite not on the road! What jobsite she ask ! Cop pulled her license on the spot ! We had been working on that road for 1.5 years that she lived 2 streets over from !! Luckily it was 10 minutes before our day started or ne and all my coworkers would've been right where she drove into ! That was scary , but the funniest thing to happen lately. We had a line level shoot off a line straight up through tree branches about 40' above to land in the gutter of the house we were working at. Several days later was doing a driveway several houses down needed a line level but forgot a spare for that one. Bet my boss I'd find that one and he said sure $50 bet !! Went over to the downspout and there it was. The rain had washed it out the following day. But I bought the crew coffee break with the $50 I won to my bosses surprise saying it was him and his money ! The following week he threw me a $500 bonus for the gesture cause he said it was really cool how I gave him the credit but never mentioned the reason was he lost the bet with the line level !!

Similar story about doing parking lot pavement work, perimeter lined with yellow caution tape. Some elderly fella drove right through the tape and around various pieces of equipment until we (screaming and yelling) got him to stop. Turns out he *always* parked in the same spot in that lot, so nothing - nothing - was keeping him from HIS spot.

Had my 6' prybar and spacing the curbing when a elderly guy started hitting the drums set up along the road . I dove into the trench having drums with truck tire sidewalls bases flying at me and he just kept driving by ! If he had hit my prybar it might have split me in two !! My boss jumped in his truck and caught up we with him 2 lights down the road and called the cops. We had flaggers no police that day and they didnt do much to make us feel safe!! 🤯👷‍♂️@ work sometimes !! Watch you back out there !! Be safe out there !!

@@k3corvette35 Speaking of drums - well, road barrels actually. A friend was working on a road construction project, one lane blocked with those big orange and white barrels. Semi truck drives past intentionally sideswiping those barrels. One hit my friend and broke his arm. No police around of course. Witnesses said the truck driver was laughing his butt off. More than 100 road construction people die a year with around 1,000 injured.

I used to work in the office for a utility construction company but for a while worked on a crew with the guys. These were grown men and I witnessed a lot of the shenanigans I saw here. But it was fun!

I worked one day to carry some large ceramic plates into a building, as we were carrying them there were some plates put aside and based on physics if you remove some plates in one side the balance of them is ruined so they fall in other side so he went and took these plates then other plates started falling so about 40 plates were destroyed.

Was around when that the last one was done before. Only it was with a drill using a hole saw used indoors when running conduit for a fiber install. Found the romex in the wall!

Reminds me of when I used to work with a crew.

Best story I got comes from an envelope house where we had an operator get her hand caught inside of a cylinder we started to take apart the machine to get her hand out and then one of my buddies asked her why was her hand inside the cylinder and she said she was cleaning it so he asked if she had anything in her hand and she said yeah she was gripping a rag. He told her to let the rag go in her hand came right out. Took us about a half hour to get the machine back together

I couldn't stop laughing while watching this video of people who had one job and completely failed at it. From misspelled signs to poorly designed products, it's hard to believe some of these mistakes made it past quality control. But hey, at least it makes for some great entertainment!

"Abusing" the newbie is very common in the trades: Pump up the non-pnuematic treads/tires; fill the carpenter's level with water until the bubbles are gone; bring the Chief electrician the wire stretcher, and hurry!

Against construction specs on USA roadways. Asphalt should be between 275F-300F when paving. What happens when you add water to something that hot??? It boils! And destroys the cohesiveness of the asphalt.
