Saw that locker room interview with Klay by Slater. I do feel and see Klay's pain. But that's part of the process. Part of realizing you are NO LONGER 'one of the best players out there'. At least not right now. And it's obviously not entirely your fault, you had HORRIFIC injuries, but you have to ACCEPT that new reality and ADJUST to it. If your shot isn't there, don't force it and try to be important in different ways for the team. 🙏🙏 He did so last night and I hope continues to do so. For this teams' sake and for his own sake. 😊 Let's go Warriors!! 💪❤

i would give klay alot more credit if he really accepted a bench role and it wont really ruin his legacy.. klay draymond and curry already made a name for themselves its just a bonus if they get another ring while still being a contributing factor.. and for kuminga he should already have been the 2nd or 3rd option last year.. this dude has shown alot of potential even in his rookie season and the warriors should really give this man minutes cause i dont want this dude to leave just because coach kerr didnt give him his minutes

Klay needs to accept reality and do what is best for the team and contribute rather than get in the way and be the reason they lose. Klay already has his legacy, a way better one than most players, he should look to westbrook, coming off the bench isn't so bad.

We just need GP2 back for extra possessions and defense. We need CP3 back for the Curry-less minutes and to play with the 2nd unit. We need Wiggs for point of attack defense and to play up to the level we KNOW he can play to. And we need Klay to get out of his own head and get his confidence back! This is one of the deepest Warriors rosters we've had in a while, they have great chemistry, the rookies are playing like vets and Curry.. Well, Curry is Curry. We could easily be a top seed in the West!! But we threw a few games, lost some VERY close ones, allowed the refs to steal a few more, lost key rotation players to stupidity (Draymond) and its knocked us down in the standings. Kuminga is playing out of his mind! Saric is a solid big. I BELIEVE in this team.. They need to get things figured out NOW while there's still plenty of games left in this season and they'll be a problem for anyone in a best of 7 series. I BELIEVE!!!

Podz clearly deserves Klay's starting spot and hopefully being benched will light a fire under Klay. Post-achilles/knee injuries he can't defend like his former self but the shooting efficiency can and should return plus playing more with CP3 in the 2nd unit should get him even better looks. Despite only being 4-3 since returning after the tragedy of Milosevic's death we've looked much better with the 3 losses being 2 during OT and the other by 1 point, so the play-in or even the 7th or 8th seed is well within our grasp if the form remains. The other positives are Dario and Moods have already returned while Wiggs, GP2 and CP3 shouldn't be too far away either, so with everyone fighting for minutes (including Santos and Quinones who've also done well) hopefully the whole roster can lift for a playoffs run. Go Dubs!

You can also add in the opposite for the Warriors here. As like on the Nets game, Nets had like 20 more 3's attempted, and yet the FT attempts are basically the same 22 FTA for Nets and 23 FTA for the Warriors. Same story with the MEM and 76ers games

even though the Warriors are not showing that good this season, it's ok for me if they enter the playoffs, it's a different story, they are dangerous to compete in the playoffs, only one bigman is missing, Gsw is already solid

Your were surgical in the last comment. The problem of facing the Lakers is that they enjoyed an absurdly friendly whistle last season. Both playoffs against the Warriors and the Nuggets, the refs, the league or whatever were putting the Lakers on their shoulders. That was really weird. It turned out quite ridiculous at some point. They have a better criteria than every other team in lame fouls, flops, you name it.

Its not a "Death lineup", its just a better lineup. Thats it. They're still miles away from title contention.

  • @philmccracken179

They aren’t “miles” away. They won it all a year and a half ago and we’re the final eight last year. This year they’ve lost a ton of one point games and buzzer beaters. They could easily be 6 games above .500 right now. And this new kuminga , Podziemski combo and things could be interesting. Imagine that lineup of curry, Podziemski, Wiggins, kuminga, green. Watch out! All they need is to get in the playoffs. Remember the heat nearly won the title last year as an 8 seed

isn't the term "death lineup" a little overused at this point? It was initially used to describe a lineup that won a championship, then 73 games (Curry/Klay/Iggy/Barnes/Dray), then used to describe the greatest team ever assembled, (Curry/Klay/Iggy/KD/Dray). In 2022 when the Warriros won the title, it seemed appropriate to deem the (Poole/Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Dray) lineup a death lineup, as they were dominating the playoffs, but calling this a "death lineup" when the team is below .500 just doenst seem appropriate.

The warriors had a good run. A good GM knows when it’s time to blow it up. Imagine what he could get for Curry on the trade market to facilitate a rebuild. Trade everyone for as many prospects and picks as you can get. Play the young guys and rebuild. See what Kuminga can do with the keys.

Just to add to the "you going 5v8 if you're going up against the Lakers", do not forget how they cooked the Raptops the last time they played in the 4th qtr. That is a solid proof how NBA doing everything for the Lakers to make the play-off.
