It depends on what our elites decide to stay or abandon ship if they keep course I see a collapse of the liberal states and maybe a sort of fascism in some states... And for sure a seperation of certain states... Right now a rise in authoritarians and an infiltration by opponents to try and accelerate the collapse and more corruption and less rule of laws and pushing drugs and bad values, sabotage... Or a private takeover of all important state assets...

Morals, hahahaha. We live in the most peaceful and compassionate time in all of human history. Not the time where if you wanted new land, you just murdered entire nations for it. Kings forcing entire societies to live in poverty. Men regularly beating women into submission. Slavery. Killing in the name of god. Brutal child labor and the ability to sell your children. Lynch mobs rounding up undesirables. Rape not treated as a crime. Lawlessness and brutality. Sure we see glimpses of all of these things today, but in much less than 100 years ago, much much less than 500 years ago and so on.

Proves how much we need an concrete understanding of a particular asset as investors because playing the market blindly or solely of technical is a big risk. I've been quite unsure about jumping considering current market actions, at the same time I feel it's the best time to get started.

Got into the stocks precisely 2019 and having lost multiple ptf, I knew I had to learn or earn passively. Considering age and I time, I picked the later. 7 quarters later with my current Portfolio manager, Yvonne Annette Lively, I hold a $827k ptf averaging 15% month roi. Also gained over $178k on just my IRA account following proper guidance. Financial security is achieved through strategy and discipline

@@mvanwie It's possible to statistically measure whether some decisions are wise. In the real world, it’s a lot more harder. We prefer faster gains or simple stories, which can be easily manipulated in other for you to like what you hear but often devilishly misleading. Right now there is little volatility which makes prediction harder & losing capital easier.

Tom, I’m a teacher and they are absolutely smart, but some don’t believe it. I’m constantly telling my students they can do anything they focus on. Its so sad how the phones are controlling them in the classroom and some are very disrespectful. We are up against so many issues as we try to educate our children.

Blue Collar - “get right with God”. You’re kidding right. If he exists at all, he’s an absent landlord at best. Think of all the misery in the world not caused by humans - disease especially plus the cruelty in nature. Droughts, earthquakes etc etc. Even the Pope would know that god doesn’t respond … it’s always been your BELIEF in a compassionate god that helps you, rather than the truth of the situation. Science has helped humanity more than any ‘god.’

It's hard to predict the future until we see this month’s inflation results. However, historical data consistently show that stocks tend to outperform bonds in the long term. Therefore, I'm staying in the market and focusing on selecting high-quality stocks. The challenge lies in identifying these stocks.

With all this scary news making the headlines, is this really a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone says the mrkt is ripe enough for buying but will stocks tank further this year? How long until a full stock recovery? How are other people in this mrkt raking in over $250k gains within months, I'm really just confused at this point.

@@alexyoung3126 I got into a bit of dilemma myself due to this chaotic mrkt, wasn't sure if to sell or just wait a little longer, 75% of my portfolo was tanking and in the red, but I began gaiinng clarity and have more confidence in my invt. through an lnvt-advlser, I know most DlY-lnvestor like me would say advlsors aren't essential, but come to think of it, they're better trained and equipped at this and if I have to give just a little amountin fees for me to be able to net $650K in less than 8months like I did this year, I truely don't mind.

It surprises me why everybody gets really worked up about recession and inflation data. Inflation has always existed, and people have been using investments to beat the inflation. The stock market return, for example, always beats inflation. I heard of someone who invested $121k last October, and has grown the portfolio by more than $400k. I need recommendations that can give me similar return.

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $21k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.

True. I first came across investing in the market in 2019. Already stashed about $80k in savings then, and the free money from the Government was pouring in, increasing inflation rate. I just got an advisor and kept the money there, just because I didn't want to keep the value of the money depreciating in the bank. Tbh, it's the best investment decision I've made since then.

I personally work with “Vivian Carol Gioia” she covers things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded, going over tax benefits, ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk. many things like that. Can I suggest you look for a KZread channel called INSPIRED.. And another called Joni Patry.. I would suggest you start with a few simple things like stocking up on food.. Practice intermittent fasting, 1 meal a day or 1 every other day.. Maybe if you've got the space buy veg seeds.... I think for us it's more of a preparing spiritually.. Understand that we are more than this body.. this body is merely a vehicle we use for this journey.. this experience on Earth.. And that no matter what happens on Earth our spirits are Bulletproof & invincible.. If you can understand this.. you're there already.. You won't feel so much, if any fear..Instead in your mind visualise on a daily basis the future you want to see & live in.. Keep Love in your heart.. Remember humans are spiritual beings & it's through positive thought that we can change timelines & our futures.. Through those 2 channels you should see other channels too... Very depressing. Most of us will not survive this.

Buy your own farm, plant your own food, make a fish pond, raise your own livestock, create your own source of drinking water, create a sustainable living and share them to your community, friends and family. Those who have a farm right now they're so lucky they'll never have shortage of food, they're always eating fresh veggies & fruits and it's free. Unlike us living in the city we're so affected of inflation.

The most important, most absolutely crucial thing that humans need to learn in their life, is how to live and NOT cause hurt or harm to one another. Because that is when they are able to create truly productive, cooperative and satisfied, happy groups that interact well. Sadly, its the opposite to what a small percentage of people are doing, and its hurting a majority and causing the masses much pain and anguish.

Dear Karen: After I watched Ray Dalio's video about his so called "principles", I realized that they are merely the canonization of the cynicism that the Rich People have used to justify their exploitation of Poor People over the centuries. His "principles" are in no way "laws" like scientific laws although he sells them to be so. Foremost, he assumes that Capitalism and its predatory effect on common people is historically inevitable, which it is not. Dalio doesn't even acknowledge that his so called "principles" are Eurocentric and he naively assumes that a Far East nation like China will them follow in the future as it ascends to the top of the heap. Ray Dalio appears to be a nice guy, but IMO he's just another Rich Cynical A-Hole who is trying to justify to his conscience how he could have spent a career on Wall Street screwing over average John Q Public. Do NOT Be Gullible, Karen. Do Your Own Research and THINK For Yourself because the bottom line is that Ray Dalio made millions off SUCKERS who were the victims of his Financial Philosophy. As a sports coach, I see fitness, postural, social, psychological, emotional and physical detriment as a direct outcome from electronic and connectivity progress. Love that his blank wall shows hope and yours is a scene from pawn stars. My focus was 100% on the easy. 2 seconds looking at your cool stuff was enough to finish my laundry.

As a foreigner that has lived in this country for over 15 years, and pondered all the issues that faces the US, I have come to the conclusion that every single major problem comes down to a failure of Governance (Government at the Federal and State level), specifically the bias of special interests and corporations over the average citizen.

Consciousness is the factor that breaks the cycle. It’s why the systym is changing

Good discussion. Thanks Tom. Ray's video needs to be seen by everyone and especially the young. There is more opportunity for young adults now than there has ever been. We need to help them see that and prepare to take advantage of all the tools of success past generations have prepared for them. I taught in a juvenile corrections facility and the boys in my class all felt that they were unlucky and good luck was for everyone else. The first day of class I taught them this... Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. I then told them that this class could be their pathway to opportunity. In the first hour of class I showed each student a spreadsheet that illustrated compounding interest and how anyone who started investing part of the income from their first job could be a millionaire. Every student I taught this to bought into my program and after awhile I didn't need to teach very much. The boys were in a race to teach each other. It was amazing!. They saw graphic arts as a huge opportunity.

As I get older, I feel the same as Ray does. I want to pass on my knowledge. I loved hearing unexpectedly from your guest what we really need to do. What a great thing for humanity to have him tell the masses to love one another. Didn’t Jesus say that? They’re both right. If we follow in their footsteps, this world will be a better place. Like he said, $6k for a child’s whole high school career and we can set him up for life. Then, that now grown child will pass it on to the next generation. Beautiful investment. He wanted to inspire us to be creative in our investments. People, infrastructure, education. Just great!

We were in Texas from 2018 to 2023. We arrived due to my last duty station before I retired from the military. We thought Texas would be a great place to retire and raise the kids. However, after living in Texas for 5 years, we realized we didn't like it. The property taxes were VERY high (I was paying $14K a year), the school systems were abysmal, and the healthcare was average at best. We did get a really big house and love it, but that is pretty much where we spent 95% of our time, because the summers were just too hot. This past summer it has been over 20 consecutive days of 100 degree weather, which meant we were getting $600 monthly electric bills. The energy grid was just too unpredictable and the constant road work became too much. We decided to move back to NorCAl and love it. Our pay has doubled and the housing is very similar to Texas - those $200K homes in the past are gone. We love the schools, healthcare, and tons of things to do in California, so for us it is the best place.

THE SADNESS I FEEL IS UNDESCRIBABLE .Our country is so beautiful yet so messed up. Our government is so corrupt it seems like it'll never never end especially when a presidency is stolen God Bless America and I hope I'm alive to help my grandchildren get through this but I don't think so

Also, I agree with you Tom about the mental headspace I get into when I follow this too much. It's not very good and it does get me depressed, so I have to step away from it at times for a while. In 2019 Martin Armstrong talked about to repo market was going to pop and we needed to do something because it would be the mother of all financial crisis. I think it was Sept of 2019 it was hanging on a tread and his AI Socrates saw a change in the market in Feb of 2020. The AI did not predict the virus but it saw the directional change, when everything happened in 2020 I could see all the puzzle pieces come together and it was super depressing. It was the US reason to print money to "save us" the printing money was good for the market because we all made money (and the money made alot of people very wealthy that knew what was going on) but at the end of the day you know it will come to an end. This whole thing is a mess and it is upsetting when people do not see what is happening right in front of them. The only way to heal our planet is to go within and heal ourselves. We are all connected and if everyone starts with healing themselves, I think we can change things.

i agree with you even after reading the creature from jekyl island just a long depressing book. I think the take away from the video today is practically what action am i taking to insulate myself from different situations and all that's missing is the education and plan. ive got crypto, real estate but debt backed property could turn sour and crypto could also turn on a dime. Having only those two the solution now is where else should i be parking excess income like commodities as inflation gains momentum or the inflation bond he discussed. the fear is because there's no contingency plan and ill be researching more into what i should be in after watching.

My first time in San Fran was in 2007. I was 18 years old. I was in the downtown area and I saw a business man waiting at a cross walk and a homeless man that was right up against him - like gut to butt. The businessman did not notice the homeless man behind him and never even flinched. I remember seeing that and being weirded out and now I realize the homeless man was probably pick-pocketing the business man and the businessman DID NOT FLINCH. DID NOT NOTICE THAT SOMEONE WAS STANDING MILLIMETERS BEHIND HIM. was nuts. wake up call for me not to be asleep and distracted

Ray Dalio talks very wisely but quietly and audio is not compressed and suddently there are these very noisy ads which are annoying

Balance is most always the key - the way to go in just about if not all areas of life. My thought. I agree with your guests in reference to having "moderates."

As a African American, I never understood why Europe didn't reinvest in stable African countries for manufacturing and stop relying on China. African countries need the development, we need the cheap labor and products and resources until the world uses A.I. technology for everything.

Great insights. I don't think the getting along and spreading of wealth is discussed enough. I feel the topic of the learning to get along needs could have more value being discussed in the perspective of economic behavior and scarcity or quality of life from a diverse group for ideas and relativism. The Government’s have always found a way to curb economic disaster. Without going into detail, read the book in its entirety. Even without reading the book, a little research will show you where we are headed. There’s still time to “wisely” prepare. This may not happen for several years, because there’s still a lot the Government can do, but make no mistake - the table is already set, and dinner will be served.

Whenever a guest with such vast knowledge and wisdom talks, your interruptions don’t bring him back to the question that was asked, but rather completely cut off his flow, which eradicates the larger argument he is trying to make. Get a notepad and while he’s talking, note down the questions you’d like to follow up with, based on what he said. Before asking, you can look at them and sort them in order of importance. This way, we can enjoy his arguments and you can ask your questions. I fucking hate it when you think it’s valid to stop someone like that speaking, because “you don’t get something” or want to clarify it for people. These people have their value in very long and complex thesis style answers - that’s why they are titans of their respective field.

I don't look at death, chaos, or suffering as bad things. They are simply part of life. The reason we always end up in a mess is trying to avoid them. This creates a larger and larger mess collectively.

Ray is spot on. First we must all be productive and make more than we take. 2nd we must learn to get along with one another at the same time. 3rd there must be equal opportunity for all. (Not to be confused with equality of outcome as that is not only unrealistic but impossible) The most important thing is to find something that really interests you and get good at it so you can be of service to others. (Be Productive) The only thing money can truly buy is the service of others ie. The Baker The Tailor, The Pizza Maker or whatever it might be. There's anyone of millions of ways to serve other's. The basic reality is there is no other way to make money. So as Ray says make more money by serving more people and spend less. It's simple! How much shit do we really need to live comfortably and be satisfied? What really matters most is that We All Do A Job Well Done Serving One Another and We'll Discover That We Will All Be Way Way Happier. Happiness Is A Job Well Done!!! We can't buy happiness, no one can give it to us because it can only be achieved by actions on our part!!! Find what you like to do and be productive now. You will discover different things to be good and productive at during your life. So you should start by keeping your bedroom and bathroom clean and head out from there. If any job is beneath you you're already off to a bad start. Every task you undertake just do it well and everything else will fall exactly into place. Trust me and you'll see it all works out perfectly.🤩😀👍💛😉

We have a monetary system + govt + military that eats 1/2 our labor. We are already working for much more than we take. We are living in a trickle down economic system because of theives at the top, when reality is that wealth begins in the earth, and can only trickle up. The source of wealth is the power.
