I agree, migration is legal and several Hindus have migrated outside India. But the question is do they enjoy a minority status, reservation criteria and voice in democracy based on their religion or is it based on the merits of being a citizen? Let's not forget the illegal migration that happens on our borders, our government feeling obliged to provide sanitary conditions which I don't condone on human rights level. But they cannot dictate nor interfere with our cultural grounds. I know this is probably going to just bounce of the wall of assumptions that many have created. But that reasoning is just flawed. Winning an election means majority of people voted for a cause and yeah those people, they traveled in droves to pakistan. A great section of muslims didn't agree with that and they were the minority voters. Even if you believe the delusional idea that India was made as a hindu state and muslims in particular didn't have a sense of patriotism because they didn't associate themselves with the national identity. People not leaving their homes, their land and their people is not an unbelievable concept. Even today most (particularly older)Indians have a very strong sense of local identity especially in the rural area . If you disagree. I get it, but this mountain of obviously flawed reasoning that has been created just to segregate and villify a section of society is a very real reminder that the British still rule us through this divide and rule.

They ( & their leaders)said they cannot coexist with Hindu brothers and sisters due to their RELIGIOUS doctrines. Muslims got more than their fair share of Bharath ( one third considering they were less than a quarter of the population) and importantly after Pakistan was created, majority decided to stay back. Hindus lost on both counts. A gradual organised population exchange was mooted by Ambedkar, Patel , Rajaji but the desh drogi Gandhi vehemently opposed it and threatened to fast until death. This blackmail resulted in the deaths of millions, mostly Hindus. Musulmans don’t have any patriotism for any country. 98.5% voted directly and indirectly for partition in 1946. Jinnah didnt ask them to stay, Nehru did. Nehru signed Liquant Nehru Pact. Muslims wanted to move to Pakistan but Nehru forced them to stay.

If all people pick good lines to love all serve all it would bring peace.

I agree with this.... My father told me Hindu Mahasabha was gaining extreme popularity just before freedom..... Congress knew that Gandhi, Nehru and Jinnah would lose sorely if it continued..... So partition was done on basis of religion, but Muslims were paid by Congress to stay back in India (even though they wanted to leave) so they could be leveraged against Hindus for long.....

I worry when people say history. History is called history when it was done and dusted. But the islamic expansion is continuing. It is present. It was Afganistan few centuries back, Pakistan & Bangladesh few decades back, Kashmir few years back, Kerala, West Bengal now which will become Kashmir's in few years.
