There's nothing worse than spoiled kids on a plane....

This video can definitely teach adults how to behave when flying. The cargo hold is noisy and scary, pets and most importantly service animals in training should travel in the cabin. This is one thing that keeps most people happy.

I'd be offering to switch seats - sure you can have my aisle/window seat. I'd sit in the middle, cramped economy seats to sit next to one of these

Unfortunately, this isn't possible on european flights. All pets must go into the cargo hold unless they are small enough to fit in a small crate, no bigger than hand luggage. Only exceptions are guide dogs for the blind. I would prefer to have a furry good boy next to me instead of a drunken, or noisy (etc...) human passenger.

@@kag3818 That's one of the reasons why EU airlines do not accept many pets on board. Even for small dogs or cats in crates, there's a preset number of animals allowed on each flight, depending on the number of passengers and the size of the aircraft I think. However, the environmental control systems of any aircraft cycles a 50/50% air mix of internal and external air, in order to make sure the air we breathe is safe and healthy. As a result he air in the cabin is fully recycled every hour (or 2 hours, don't remember). This air is also filtered by medical grade (like in operating surgical rooms) high efficiency filters so it's safe to say that dog/cat hair or dead skin fragments are eliminated rather quickly. Unless you sit right next to an animal, the risks of developing an allergic reaction are small. I think US rules on allowing pets onboard are OK.

@@sharonauker1049 I will never put my dog in the cargo hold, in a stressful environment and being cared for by people he doesn't know. Never, ever. Nope. Not on my watch. Either we travel together by car, train, bus, boat...or we don't travel.

Thank God they are allowing them in the plane and they don't have to be stuck in the cargo hold.

Especially since so many airlines have a terrible track record with luggage. It's one thing to have your clothes get sent somewhere random but if they lose our pets, it's a declaration of war

@@judithphillips3436 same here in Germany, any dog/ animal over 8 kg has to be transported in a special box in the cargo section. 😔my friend once managed to „sneak“ in her Havanese female dog in a light transport bag after the dog had a summer hair cut (and looked really slim😉) on a flight to Croatia. Her dog is usually around 10/11kg and pretty small. Looks were deceiving and she and the dog were lucky 😊

I would rather sit next to a pet as next to a screaming child or a Karen. I have cat allergies but will be fine with dogs,I own two labradors and will never take them in the plane, even one is a emotional support dog, I can’t do that to them, I fly a few times a year from the US to the Netherlands, it’s hard for me, so I will not do that to my doggies, to long of a flight but would not have a problem to sit next to a dog.

I think everyone agrees that pets are just great and fun to be around. I think it just brightens everyone's day. I know the people enjoyed seeing the pets on the flights.

What airline allows dogs to be out of their carriers? Every domestic flight I took with my small dog I had to keep her zipped up in her carrier under the seat in front of me. No exceptions! I don’t get how these dogs and cats were allowed to be on their owners’ laps or sitting in a seat.

I flew with my cat and snuck her out of the carrier. She slept in my arms and didn’t make a sound. She was supposed to be in the carrier. Flight attendant walked by and just ignored us. I imagine that if Raven was making a fuss I would have had to put her back in her carrier. This happened before things were becoming pet friendly.

Well it's about time that Animals flew properly, with their parents, not in a box in cargo. Especially as they are probably better behaved passengers than a whole lot of humans! In my city now we are seeing more dogs & cats allowed on buses in the city. About time. I have seen terrible behavior from humans on buses or city-train, like spitting. Never seen a dog spit anywhere! I would prefer to sit by a dog or cat if l were flying somewhere! Such beautiful adorable babies, every one of them!!🤗♥️☘️🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦

I was on a international flight a year ago, and there was a cat. I was really impressed at how well it did on the plane. Never cried at all except for when we were descending to land. Probably hurt his ears like it does mine.

Dogs can be nice, but not when they poop in the middle of the aisle in First Class in flight (Owner had NO class).

I bet they were all model passengers unlike the typical human

I once had my cat shipped by air and they sent him to the wrong airport. He had to be put on another plane and shipped again. By the time he got to us a 2 hour flight had turned into an 8 hour disaster. When I picked him up he was howling and crying and dehydrated. Never again. We had moved to another state by car and we thought that would be hard on him since it was a 2-day drive. Wrong choice.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. I had a similar situation/experience with my dog. I was flying with my dog. Got checked in , waited and he had to be checked in for under the plane , so they took him. Well come to find out , he was put on a different plane hours earlier than he was supposed to. At the time I didn’t know this. I finally got to my destination 3 hours later. I go to get him claimed and they couldn’t not find him. I was getting upset. He wasn’t logged on the plane and didn’t have records of him. They searched every flight that came through there, and that’s when I found out. So my poor dog who was left in his cage for over 6 hours with no food, especially no water and no bathroom breaks , barely any human contact. He was panicked stricken, anxious and was whimpering the entire time he was there. I was beyond livid. I gave them my piece of mind. Soon as he saw me he was beyond relieved. I didn’t care about the policy of not taking him out, I had too. He just curled up in my lap and stayed there and wouldn’t move. This was his last trip on plane. Never again. And if I ever get a chance to own another dog, I will not be taking a plane with them.

If I’m not mistaken many of the 🐕 are Labradors

close to 40 yrs on planes every week domestic and international. My best flights always had dogs on them, esp rescue dogs. Hell never saw so many folks who asked could they sit with the dogs. Best passengers ever. I have been on flights with cats, mini service donkey and a mini horse. They also were grand but the best were the St Bernards and Great Danes. When they would pop their heads up even if your were snoozing you would get an elbow to say look.

@@chilechocodiva USA all of my flights originated in Phila but went around the globe 2x in 40 yrs. Only places never visited Artic and Antartica. Those were great times to fly. NOW no way will I get on a plane and if its a Boeing no way in heck will I get on those planes.
