I’ve played french scrabble before, it’s insane, because of the rarity of certain letters making the points different from English. Since y and x are worth 10 points, if you have the letters for yeux (French for eyes), and play it turn 1(in the rule set I was playing turn 1 gives double points, don’t know if that’s universal ), you get 56 points. (Again not sure if that because of the version, it could’ve been English scrabble but we made french words, my memory is a little fuzzy with that)
