People and Conversational Signs | 150 Essential ASL Signs | Part 2
Learn how to sign 150 essential ASL signs and phrases. Well, technically this is part 2 of 6, so we'll be learning about 25 signs in this video. Specifically we're learning about ASL people and conversational signs. These are fundamental signs that you'll use to craft your first ASL phrases.
150 signs is a lot of signs, but I promise, you can do it! We're breaking these videos down to 6 bite size videos where we'll spend a good amount of time with each word. By the end of this series you should be able to carry on a basic conversation with a deaf person. How cool is that!

ASL might just be your thing!!!! Yay!
I started out learning ASL as a "secret language" I could use with my friends to communicate in school. But, now I'm realizing that ASL is so much more than that. This language is absolutely beautiful in so many ways..thank you for helping me realize that!!
In most cases I hate when videos replay clips, but in this instance it helps familiarize the signs 😊

@@LearnHowtoSign I have a question. For the sign for “sign”, do you have to do the motions with only one finger, or can you use two, like the sign for “T”? I always do it with two fingers and I don’t want to be doing it wrong. Please tell me the correct way, thanks.
Great teachings!I am a 13 year old boy and this has encouraged me to learn sign language.I want to join the community because where I live ,there's of deaf people. So I would like to say thanks. And hope you help more people!

I’m learning asl cause I’m about to be an aunt and I want to teach my future niece or nephew on how to sign when they’re a little older. I think it’s great to teach children to learn asl in case they encounter a deaf or even a mute person. Even if they can hear or not, I think we should educate children at a young age to learn signs.

Actually, its geeat to teach when theyre young! Unlike other languages, sign is proven to help with english language development rather than hinder it. It also is easier to learn than verbal language and prevents meltdowns
There’s a girl at my cheerleading class and you seems really sweet and kind and I talk to her using your videos thank you
Something I’ve been doing while learning ASL is to match it to song lyrics. So, as I go about my day and a song gets stuck in my head I use the words that I know to sign the song…it’s really helped me to memorize all these signs!!
I have a friend whose son is mostly nonverbal, and I myself sometimes go mute, so this is extremely helpful. Thank you!
I'm learning sign so fast and its so fun! i wanna communicate better with my deaf customers but also isn't it just so neat? i think sign is so interesting I'm so happy to be learning

I've only been learning a little bit of sign language and I ran across your videos today! I've been teaching my baby sign language since she was around 2-3 months old. And she could sign Mikly, and change. And I'm trying to get her back to signing. So I'm learning a lot more. She's 5 months and I'm the only one that works with her on sign language. Since my mother in law had started babysitting she doesn't sign anymore, and it's heart breaking. I'm trying to get books and make my own flash cards. If she ever wants to baby sit her again it will be 100% mandatory for her to use sign language with her, and for her to use the signs I use everyday with her. Im also hustling at getting my broadcasting career off the ground so I can be a 100% stay at home mom, so I know my daughter is actually learning! Thank you for these videos, it's helping me. I have a learning disability, so sometimes my brain doesn't comprehend what I'm watching, so these videos are 100% a big help for me!! Thank you, thank you, thank you
I’m starting an ASL club at school I’m so excited and we’ll use these videos they’re the best♥️♥️

I am ten year old up at 2:00 am working so hard to learn ASL and I don't even need it. I want to learn it to communicate with deaf people. I am taking it slowly. For example I am still working on spelling names at a normal paste. I know how to say : Hello, My name is Emerson! I am learning sign, please slow down when signing. It's the first full sentence I know in ASL. So yay! I am getting there!!

Hi! I came across these videos, because at my job there is a fellow co -worker who is deaf, she tries to communicate with others but you can see she gets bummed out as she tries to explain herself, so I want to learn some sign language so I would be able to properly communicate with her! Thank you! You're great at teaching sign!
