I could be wrong, but I think this was PTX’s “In your face vid” their fish or cut bait video…they had just been cut loose by their record label and realized that they were on their own! Making use of “parking garage acoustics”, they let the world know, thru you tube, that they were indeed GOOD ENUFF!!! Fast forward a few years to them renting an entire airport terminal to make a video and realize how fortunate we, and the world, was that these young people had the work ethic/determination as well as the talent to persevere!!! I respect them SOOOO much!!!❤❤❤

They are so dang talented. Have you ever reacted to PopSpring 2016? It’s my favorite Pentatonix video. 3 originals and the evolution of Michael Jackson live with awesome sound and video quality.

This is the first video that went viral for them after losing their record contract when they won the Sing Off season 3. The record label dropped them a week after they won, and they chose to proceed with making themselves well known to KZread! I am so glad to see you do more PTX. Please check out their mashup of La La Latch. It's my favorite with Avi Kaplin as the bass singer.

Such a nice arrangement for their voices! But----why does Kevin look so angry? I always laugh at the drop where the camera seems to "drop, like the camera person was feelin' the vibe.

Babytonix. Even before they figured out that they could record audio and video separately, the way they did in "Daft Punk." You can tell because they were obviously singing in a location that had been chosen specifically for its acoustics.

This was one of their first after Sony dropped them. They were living in LA in the same apartment complex and they filmed this in a basement room or back area of the building. I jumped on this as soon as I saw you reacted to it and I'm so happy you loved it! One of my faves of their early stuff. Thanks for a great reaction as usual!!

I love Babytonix. You should check out 'La La Latch'. It's old school PTX mashing two songs so brilliantly you'd think it was one song. One of my absolute faves from them for sure. Thanks for more PTX, Lee! Looking forward to Wednesday's reaction now 😉

Great reaction! It's no surprise to me anymore, and yet is still amazes me that they were putting out this level of work so early in their careers. In some ways you can see "improvement" in their more current work, but it's more about confidence and maturity. This one is perfection, and it's Babytonix!

It's nice having you react to Pentatonix again. You were missed. Great reaction. Thanks. FUN FACT: Original artist, Goyte, went up to Ben Bram, co-arranger with Pentatonix, and told him that he liked what Pentatonix did with the song. That was pretty classy of him, IMO.

Not sure if you ever reacted to where they all started on The Sing Off but it's a great insight into where they started and how far they've come. Mrduckbear has all the vids on his channel, just an idea 💡 🤔🤷‍♀️

Just a heads-up; not only do they play their God -given instruments in ways that delight and amaze us, but they also play actual instruments. Kevin plays numerous instruments, including the cello, sax, piano, and possibly a few others. He coined the term cello-boxing, and to my knowledge is the only person who beat boxes while playing the cello. Matt is a drummer, Mitch plays the piano, although doesn't really like to much, Scott originally thought he wanted to be a concert pianist and plays accordingly, and I'm not sure what Kirsti plays - maybe piano as well. They have some amazing videos with instruments: Radioactive, Papaoutai, Over the River, Perfect, Thank You, and Say Something, just to name a few.

I originally subscribed for your Queen reactions, but was really happy when you started doing Pentatonix last year. My two top KZread favorites. I appreciate the variety you have on your channel, but I'd love to see both groups a little more often. I suggest a PTX original song done live at their Hollywood Bowl concert last year -- "Sing" kzread.info/dash/bejne/gKRl16ylebaWoKg.html

Wonderful reaction Lee. I can't watch or hear this song without crying. Lemmy actually wrote this song so Sabaton covered it. But somehow this song was made for Joakims voice. This song is so heartbreaking and will probably never be out of date. I think it is so important to know about history and Sabaton spreads historical events in the most wonderful way. With music. The most horrible thing for me in this is that so many people must die just for power hungry egotistical maniacs. It is always the normal folk that suffer the most. A lesson hopefully one day human kind will understand and stop this madness
