The smile actually probably even helps him sing the way he’s doing it. A smile adds brightness to the sound, so his smile literally changes the music. How awesome is that?

@@jeanevans6061 Me too! I watched the Sing Off from its first episode on a lark, and got hooked on PTX then. I was excited about them but sadly figured they'd make a go of it but not really get any traction with a record label and dissolve into various musical occupations. I was right about them up to that last point. I never anticipated, go out on their own, produce viral videos that explode the internet and become an international sensation lol. I should have.

(unpopular opinion here), I honestly kinda liked bald Mitch. Of course that’s partly because Mitch looks awesome no matter what.

I can't even begin to put into words how this song makes feel. But for lack of better words I will say that it makes me feel seen. As someone who has dealt with, sometimes debilitating, self loathing for upwards of 35 years, this song tells my husband of over 20 years exactly how I feel when I never could. I love you five. Thank you for sharing yourselves with us. You will never know the impact that your music has had on so many.

Those who disliked I wish they could hear again Matt's voice,,, it might be the cure for their rudeness... the guy is masterpiece...

His nickname is Drama Free Matt Sallee. I'm not saying it's definitively true, but there were some rumors that Avi was toxic to them, especially Kirstin. I think it could be plausible since he (or at least his team/lawyers) caused a huge lawsuit that resulted in over 50 PTX songs that he sang on never being released. Most of them don't follow him on IG anymore and he doesn't follow Kirstin or Mitch. I'm pretty sure only Kevin went to his wedding.
