Yes, this is the right clip. They opened with the Christus Factus to give Kevin time to put away his cello that he used on the previous performance. Just before Avi starts singings, you see Mitch and Scott move over closer to Kirstie. That's so Kevin can take his place. You can hear the beatboxing you just never actually see Kevin. There is a video from 2014 with a zombie feel to it. It's actually pretty funny. It was early in their career so it was definitely on a budget. There are five other Star Vista clips out there by the same fan and they're all fabulous.

The combination of the person shooting the video being a Mitch fan, and the fact that Aha is a "Mitch song" since he takes the lead vocal all the way through are the main reasons the focus and video framing are almost totally tight on Mitch. I'm one of the people convinced that Avi's powerful low note at the beginning fried some of the "woofers" in the sound system because the bass was all a bit fuzzy after that. Mitch was absolutely on fire in that performance, and most people get so caught up in those crazy belted high notes at the end that hardly anyone even mentions the incredibly beautiful little riff leading up to the first of the high notes.

Avi was classically trained...he actually blew the speakers with that super low note...lol Avi sound was a bit distorted after that lol.... Mitch just had a ball....there is a video of whole show ...

Yes that was a Mitch cam because the fan realized that that was Mitch's song. See, They each have a song when they're touring and that's why Kevin was gone in the beginning, he was just putting away his cello after HIS solo. So the fan was prepared and she caught Mitch when he was really feeling it! You can tell that this is not just a job with them. They really LIKE singing together and seeing how far they can make each other go. And the answer is PRETTY DAMN FAR!

Mitch was on fire that night. And Avis bass almost blew the speaker's. It's a song by Immogen Heap. There is a music video for it to but the reason we wanted you to react to it is bc of Avi and Mitch. Great reaction as usual.

My second favorite PTX performance. So different, so amazing. Mitch blows it away! As does Avi.

The funny thing about the order of those two songs is that they seem to go, "Okay, this is how low Avi can go...now let's see how high Mitch can go!" 🤣

I loved the way your eyes got so wide when Avi hit those super low notes! Obviously the fan’s camera phone couldn’t handle either extreme very well. As you probably noticed, Kevin wasn’t on the stage at the beginning. He’d just done a solo on his cello and was putting her (‘Beyoncé ’) away. He came onstage as Avi was finishing his solo part.

Aha is an Imogen Heep cover this live version was recorded at The Star Vista venue in Singapore by a fan, hence it not showing Kevin as she was concentrating on Mitch and Avi at the beginning. There is an official video for Aha

Just to be clear, you watched the version everybody was clamoring for. The official video is nice, but doesn't have Mitch's high notes.

This was definitely a "strap in, hunker down, and grab on with both hands" performance. I know the soloist's get the attention but as a filler in-ner myself what Kirsten and Scott did was amazing too. Then there is the least visible, and some might argue, the most important the element, Kevin. Though he isn't seen his energy and and beats are felt and heard throughout. Think about what they all do. The amount of major and minor sounds, plus the nuanced sounds that each is responsible for, then multiply that times the number of songs they do and the amount of information they have stored for immediate access is staggering. Thanks HAP3 for your great reactions.

Mitch is a mood.

This is stunning. Yes, it's a fan cam. My only regret is that the film taker was clearly a Mitch fan and forgot to film anyone else after the start especially Kevin when he came in killing it on the beat boxing. There is a great, made, staged, older, video of this song but this more recent live one is just electric.

There is a really good version from the Popspring concert but it's part of a four song set so it's a bit long. x

They are each posted separately, as well .... I've suggested "Can't Sleep Love" a million times with PTX reactors, actually had a few take me up on it :-)

There is an official video for this but fans tend to prefer this one where Mitch does some extra. Also Avi's low notes and overtone singing in the beginning are fan favorites.

Another great one to do a comparison of is their original song Can’t Sleep Love featuring Tink, then the live version recorded at PopSpring 2016. There is an official version that is slightly different to the Tink and live versions

There is an official one where you can hear the intricate vocals ... AVI uses his overtones singing in it but in that live one it came out distorted... because I think Avi’s opening low note blew a speaker or 2 lol

No it was not their original song. They started with Bruckners Christus factus est pronobis and the actual song, where Kevin comes in with the beatboxing is by Imogen Heap. And yes, it is a focus on Mitch version of this performance, but it was the one all the Pentaholics love and care about. THX for your reaction!

Yes, "fan cam" version you found is the CORRECT recommended video. Many Pentaholics recommend selected "live concert" performances (instead of/in addition to Official releases) because their live performances are so extraordinary. Generally - PTX avoids recording anything different from what they can perform live. After attending 3 live concerts, we can attest: SOME live performances are actually BETTER than the recordings as a audience experience. (Plus, wear headphones for PTX whenever no live/in-person).
