I'd take this whole situation with a grain of salt. This would not be the first time the US government had disguised tests of advanced technologies behind the veil of "extra terrestrial activity." I know the more convincing arguments for why ETs could exist and why at least a few of them may be looking at/for us. All I'm saying, though, is that this could still be a wild goose chase meant to keep the public's eyes off of something they were not meant to see yet. As for the question of whether or not the public should be allowed to see whatever the government is hiding, if that is the case, that conversation im staying out of.

I mean think about it if humans were capable of doing this we would study a civilization for years before possibly making contact you can say its finding us important but we are important from what we have been able to observe life isnt a super common thing so its more then worth to spend time and effort on studying even if you decide not to make contact

I believe that we are not alone in this universe as with so many star systems there is bound to be other Earth like planets that have intelligent life upon them (more advanced than us). These interstellar visitors are obviously watching us - it is my opinion that the majority have peaceful intentions (there are only a few that may well be hostile - the "good guys" will obviously keep them at bay as this planet has enough darkness as it is with warring factions as in these Communist and Dictatorship Governments still hanging around like Russia, China and North Korea), they are just waiting for the right time for us to be more consiously aware of the truth and not to fear them - then they may let their cloak shields (disguising as rocks, asteroids and other benign objects) down so we finally see! I cannot wait for that time as I am NOT afraid as I myself am not entirely 100% human either in the linear sense - a Human Angel I am and even animals/pets know that too (they just love me)!!!
