The US, Canada, Japan and Philippines are conducting a Naval exercise at the same time in the same area. The Australian did not join them this time round as the Chinese Premier is visiting Australia. The Philippines than decided to make a surprise landing on the shoal but was stop by the Chinese Coastal Guards. The rest of her allies just left the Area leaving the special forces behind. Footage from the Chinese showed that the Pinoy special forces was captured and detained for 12 hours and well treated. Additional info: Alot of people are saying "we should fight back". But they forget that if we Filipinos do that it'll be war. Cause whoever shoots first in this conflict loses. If the Chinese shoots first, it'll automatically activate the mutual defense treaty. Thus, making the Americans and allied nations to retaliate which can signal WW3 and Chinese defeat. Now if we Filipinos shoot first at them. It can take a while for the US Congress to vote if they will invoke the MDT or not. And while they sre deciding on it and allied nations are still pondering if they will also enter the conflict. As time passes by, it can mean defeat or victory for us (but like hell we will give the Chinese an easy time). So on my humble opinion exposing what the Chinese Communist really are to the whole world is the right thing to do at this moment. We Filipinos are only tolerating it because we know that facts. But let me reassure you that most of us are itching to fight back against them. Many are willing to sacrifice their lives for our country. And once our tolerance had been depleted, it'll be upto the Americans if they will help or not. Not only our survival is at stake, but also the US. Cause if China wins they will target the US next.
