Clever mug trick, but it was more chemistry than magic ^^, it was temperature sensitive paint on the mug, he did the switch right in front of us, he pulled out a cold(or warm) mug, really put the rope through the handle, and spent enough time building it up for the cup to warm(or cool down) just enough to change color.

The mug trick is a very nice routine, I love when the public can experience the magic from multiple points of view, so entertaining !

For the mug trick, I am not sure exactly how it is done, but one thing I realized at 6:50 the handle was at the bottom of the mug while falling down, while it should have been on the top logically. So maybe the original handle was magnetic and was left inside the cloth (The cloth wasn't shown fully after the tick) and a second handle was snuck somehow with a slight of hand (Maybe right when putting the cloth on it in the beginning) and attached magnetically.

6:00 he lays the cloth over his arm while grabbing the other handle "from the cloth" and very sneakily putting it on the mug.. my guess is he had to handles at that point in the same position together looking like 1 handle overall.. but if that was the case im still stumped at how it dropped into his hand at the end with the handle being on the opposite side

The cup on the rope very simple the handle comes off and sticks back in like the red mug he stuck to the top of the helmet. Most likely magnets.

I thought that at first, but playing it back I don't see a moment where that happens. His hands are never near where the two ends would be joined to help them release and reseal. Instead, could the mug's handle have a small, hinged gate halfway up it, which is only released when the mug is gripped a certain way, so the audience member can be safely handed the mug and not observe this gimmick? The magician opens the gate and the mug just drops off the rope perfectly smoothly as he tugs it downward. However, if I'm wrong and it's not a gimmicked mug then yes I'm with you and the rope is gimmicked. It has to be one or the other, I think!

First trick probably used magnet mug. It's crazy how they can get fooled by simple trick and bust a difficult one.

Card tricks get old, but card tricks that just go on and on get tiring. It's great when a magician comes out with coins, balls, or any prop but cards.

Anyone ever see Penn & Teller’s show on Showtime like 20 years ago or so called Bullsh*t? I rewatched it, and for one, like 90% of the show is now flat out factually incorrect, and also, some of it is extremely creepy. There’s a lot of episodes with naked young women on it and Penn & Teller fondle their breasts on the show! It’s kinda disturbing honestly…

Brooke Burke is gorgeous. So classy.

Brooke is great though.

What a crappy end. This show is done.

No, it's a _act,_ and a stellar presentation. She has all the chops of a seasoned professional. She's a dear, and she knocked the audience outa the park. Rarely hear such applause. Her trick was routine, apart from the ending, which was original; but it won't be long before she'll really start fooling the pros.
