You'll see two of the more unbelievable touchdowns in Penn State football history in this game. And both of them were executed by the same player, backup quarterback Rashard Casey. This may have been Casey's best game as a Penn State player, and he did it while coming off of the bench in a high scoring game for the offense. On the other side of the ball, enjoy watching the shear athleticism on the field between players like Lavar Arrington and Courtney Brown going up against a player like Antwon Randel-El. For a 'ho-hum' mid-season conference game, it sure was about as entertaining as it can get.
Penn State's Top Performers:
Rashard Casey: 13-15, 196 yards, 2 TDs - 8 carries, 66 yards, rushing TD
Bruce Branch: 90-yard punt return touchdown
Tony Stewart: 5 catches 89 yards
Penn State took care of it's business to mark the fifth win of the season in as many weeks to remain undefeated. Indiana dropped it's record to 1-3 after leaving Beaver Stadium in 1999. The Hoosiers would finish the year with a 4-7 record, finishing in 9th place within the conference.

Lucky for Penn State, they got two early scores on returns. This game could have been much different. This was not the number 2 team in the nation at this time. I'm a Penn State fan and I knew this.

Yes this was a talented good team but it was not a #2 team sadly.
Penn state safeties were a huge weakness.
Did Kevin Thomson get hurt in this game?

Not that I could tell by going through the entire game. It looked more as if when Casey was in that he just was playing way too well for the coaches to take him out. If Thompson was hurt, the commentators didn't really address it.
