If you look at the average person, it's not surprising..The Kardashians is the level of intellect most people have been dumbed down to, and yes, it's unfortunate.

Seems like I'm missing a Houdini bust at my place. I got to meet James Randi at a few parties over the years, and watched him do close-up magic a few times. Last time we met was in summer of 2017; wow.. was it really that long ago! He was quite a guy, and I'm really glad to have met him. I really love the idea of the $1MM prize - the ultimate "put up or shut up" challenge.

I remember an interview you did with Randi. It might have been a DVD extra for the box set of BS. Is it posted anywhere?

I totally want to buy one of those busts now.

I understand saying "yeah, uh-huh, ok" is good feedback to let the other person let you know you are actively listening, but is it really necessary to turn that up to 11 and say "yeah, yup, uh-huh" a hundred times in 4 minutes? Is Krauss afraid his listeners will think he left the room if he doesn't make a noise every 2 seconds? I love Krauss but I could never listen to a whole podcast if that's how he always is on the mic

I honestly can't even make it through this segment. It's perfectly respectful for a private conversation, but given that it's a podcast, it absolutely ruins this entire bit for the audience.

This is hilarious. What they did was super unethical but Randi seemed to see the humor,.
