    @@ghm15231 Glenn, thank you for the response...if you can afford the time for "Better Call Saul" that is an impressive TV Series that is mainly about the relationship of two brothers that are lawyers (Chuck McGill / Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman) and in the end Jimmy / Saul has to trick his own brother to win, but it's a sad win. Very moving. Cheers from Germany!

    Great routine. I love the way you carry yourself! I like how you ended it. My only question though is home come you chose not to pull the last 6 out of your pocket as well?

  • @ghm15231

    @ghm15231

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thanks for the kind words. Regarding your question, I actually have three reasons. First, since the 6 travels to a black hole somewhere in the universe... the gravity in a black hole is so strong even light can not escape. So why would the six? Second, not reproducing the 6 bothers people. It keeps them wondering and thinking about the performance of the trick. They keep asking me throughout the night... "So, what happened to the six?" That being said, this is the only trick I perform that doesn't go full circle. Last thought. If someone were to describe the trick to someone else the next day, consider the following scenarios and tell me what you think sounds like a better trick. "Last night I saw this guy make 6 signed cards travel invisibly one at a time from his hands to his pocket." Or, "Last night I saw this guy take 6 signed cards and make the first 5 travel invisibly one at a time from his hands to his pocket, and then, he completely vanished the 6th card into thin air."

    @@ghm15231 yeah that makes sense. I was just curious on your take on it would be, that’s all. I appreciate you getting back to me. I really do like the routine! The black hole makes sense and I’m sure Dr. Cooper would be proud! I think a lot of magicians can really learn a great deal from watching routines like this. The second scenario does sound better and more inter than the first, that’s for sure! 😊

    I used to produce the 6 until I started sending it to a black hole, somewhere in the universe. I'm not happy about it either. I lose a card every time I perform the effect. :)

    @@ghm15231 so, with how many times you've done this trick, how many 51-card decks do you have, as a result? You should be careful, every one of those cards makes the black hole a little bigger. Do the trick enough times and you could destroy the universe.
