Their performances here are a lot like major resume pieces. Penn and Teller being performers themselves would appreciate being able to use high-profile performances like this to advertise themselves to clients.

I'm pretty sure it is more of a sharing thing. Obviously the show still has the rights to it, or else they would need to pay royalties if they re-aired any episode. But they clearly must allow the acts that come on the show to use their for their own purposes, which is great and a COMPLETE 180 from literally every single other competition show. You can barely even TALK about your America's Got Talent performance in any sort of detail on your own channel.

From what Penn has said on his PODCast, it is written into the agreement with each magician that they can post their own performance on _Fool Us_ on their own online media channels. This includes KZread, Vine and TikTok.

4:14 is where the "magic" happens. With the swipe of the picture over the cloth, the non permanent marker rubs off and the permanent marker is left behind. Watch closely how she carefully picks up the other cards before and after that occasion.

I love the simplicity of this trick. Penn’s “rubbed off” remark gave it away and I had to go back to find the moment when the black mark was erased. Teller thought fast and had good eyes!

He maintained eye contact with the magician as she guided him through the trick rather than do what Teller was obviously doing which was focusing on the cards rather than her. He was being professional as a courtesy and acting as an audience member would although he should have been paying more attention to the trick rather than her presentation. You need to seriously calm down. Being angry for no discernible reason is not good for the blood pressure.

Each picture had a green checkmark with a black X over it. When she pushed the winning picture over to Penn to reveal, she rubbed the X off on the tablecloth to reveal the checkmark, hence his “rub off on us” comment.

I think every photo had a green check covered by an erasable black X. Notice how she carefully lifts every photo instead of sliding them across the tablecloth, but just before the reveal, she slides the final photo across the tablecloth - thus erasing the black X and revealing the green check.

Note the shape of the black Xs, and how carefully she handled those photos, then she rubbed the selected one on the tablecloth.

@@XxHelios77xX The idea for the trick is simple but to execute it you have to have a black ink that rubs off perfectly on a red cloth without leaving a trace but does not rub off on any of the other cards during the trick: that's magical chemistry.

Great act. Almost got both of them. Got me but then Penn said the magic word "Rub." Watching over it a second time I think that second rub was your undoing because the first one was seamless and forgettable with that awesome patter and I think Teller became suspicious after seeing the 2nd movement. I put it down to you being in the moment and doubting the first one.

Yep, "rub off" was the key point of Penn's explanation. Probably all the photos are marked with a black X, but pressing down on them against the fabric of the table, removes the X and reveals a green checkmark. Something like that. But, an enjoyable routine nonetheless. :)

the last part😉🤑 made me chuckle Mostly 'cause, and i am south Asian, to me.. most of you white (or darker or darkest) almost all look the same.. featureswise. If the build or body type is same.. only eyes or nose and hair colour is all that i could use aa identifiers. but now hair dye, colour and cietic surgery happens. maybe even i can end up looking as pleasing and lovely as ..Alicia Silverstone🤗 from the 1990s
