Peni! So happy to see her in more media outside of spider verse. She’s really gone through a lot for a 16 year old. Lost her mother from child birth, lost her father at age 10 when he was just about to retire so he could spend more time with her, was the only one capable of creating a psychic link with her spider co-pilot so she had to become the new SP//DR at just 10, and lost her aunt May and fellow classmate Addy Brock to a corrupted VEN#m suit. In spite of all that, she still perseveres and embraces her identity as a superhero, even if she’s a little different from most other spider person versions. I like to believe she also sees there’s more to her as a hero than just the suit, cause there have also been many occasions where she will willingly exit the suit if it means there’s even a shred of hope in still winning.

Yea, i was wondering if such backstory would be expressed in part 3, since peni sided with miguel, but i dont think the lore is gonna be expressed in this game though, but time will tell But wow, i hate this design so much.. it just looks like d.va.. comic peni has such good designs too, and spiderverse peni is close to the orignal!

It's amusing how every iteration of Spiderman is just a caricature of suffering, such a tragic character (reminds the Greek heroes). Saved by Miles in the Spiderverse movies, he lost his "cool uncle" before the uncle could try to take advantage of him, then acts like a selfish asshole in the sequel... it's a work in progress, considering the "Great Web" is at stake, the tragedy in Spiderverse 3 can be super exaggerated

She seems buffed. If you look closely the amount of spider bots are increased and the nest seems to create more on to of that I think some of the projectile speed was buffed too

Peni is actually a strong character, she'll be extremely underrated but she is a great second tank, especially on defense. You shoot-quick melee and it doesnt slow down how fast you shoot, there's a few things like this with Peni that make her strong, there's a reason my damage per 10 was 11k. Everyone will call her bad though, even without knowing that she has a self heal. Basically if they buff her she'll be overpowered and I'll be maining her.

A very solid Tank in this game!

Before someone whines about this character being a Dva clone, is the other way around, Peni Parker was created before Dva lol literally NOTHING in Overwatch is truly original, talking about a extremely derivative game. I had a good laugh watching the Genji trailer back in the day, some people saying the character looks cool and creative... I mean, Metal Gear had a "cyber ninja" in the 90s, most likely the japanese anime industry created the concept in the 70s or something. Anyway, creativity aside, the character looks fun, well designed, nice voice acting, etc.. really nothing negative to say about her

Yep. It's one of the many weakness of Overwatch and every other hero shooter/moba out there, they take forever to release new characters because they have to be created from zero (even if 90% of the roster is super derivative anyway). Now for Marvel, the characters are all created, it's easy (on paper) to adapt them. Cyclops is all about range, he can run and roll, his ultimate is a big beam... Wolverine is a melee tank, auto-heal like Roadhog, he climb walls with his claws, he can be trowed by other "bulky" tanks (like Hulk, Colossus, The Thing, etc) so that helps with his limited mobility... it's hard to think about "healers" in the Marvel universe tho, but hell, there has to be someone out there, hundreds of characters "pre-made"

Very unnecessary for the weather change and the weather change boost to take up two slots in the storm skills, you could put it on the same button, press and release quickly = change the weather press and hold: gives the boost.
