Penguins, Flamingos, & the Last Guanay Cormorant in the US! | The Bronx Zoo

On this walk through the Russell B. Aitken Sea Bird Colony and Aquatic Bird House, we'll encounter a number of interesting characters. Most notably, the last guanay cormorant living outside of South America, birds with "mustaches" - the Inca terns, the world's smallest penguin - the little (or blue) penguin, birds with spoons for beaks, and the always-entertaining, bustling bright pink flamingos!

- Yellow-headed blackbird (Xanthocephalus xanthocephalus)
- Little penguin (Eudyptula minor)
- Sunbittern (Eurypyga helias)
- Baer's Pochard (Aythya baeri)
- Peruvian pelican (Pelecanus thagus)
- Red-legged seriema (Cariama cristata)
- Storm's Stork (Ciconia stormi)

Aw, what a very heartwarming comment to receive! Thank you so much. When I posted this video, I was (and still am, honestly) pretty nervous about others hearing my voice. And I actually aspire to be a wildlife presenter (think David Attenborough and others like him), so that is awesome to hear! I will most certainly consider giving more information about the species I feature in future videos, as I love educating people about these sorts of things! Thanks again! 😊
