I spent 6 days in hospital before finally coming home. Missing Thanksgiving was pretty awful until I remembered how Thankful I am to God. Many Prayers for Penny and Linky and the Miller Family. Wow! Lincoln’s daddy singing worship songs to him, brought tears to my eyes!

What a week. If this Thanksgiving has taught me anything, it's that you never know what some people are going through and getting through. My aunt just died suddenly, and a week after the funeral, was Thanksgiving. My mom and my other aunts were understandably having such a hard time and just weren't really into celebrating this year, so it was a quiet dinner with just immediate family. Really really just be grateful for the time we have with one another. Hug your babies, hug your spouse, your gf/bf, your dog, your cat, just make sure the people in your life, know you love them. Sending my thoughts to your family and wishing everyone a speedy speedy recovery.

Couldn't keep from crying when seeing the emotion as you described Lincoln's emergency. Lifting him up now. I am able to relate somewhat, because our daughter has serious health conditions that have involved many surgeries and ER trips. She refuses to allow it to rule her positive attitude and thankful spirit; and I see those amazing attributes in your children as well. So often we mamas must offer up praises while our hearts break watching our babies (mine is 20 now) suffer. We know God is good all of the time, but there is a lot of pain that coexists with joy and peace that transcends all understanding. God bless Penny, Lincoln, Mom, Dad and every one in the family as you share your faith through example and love!
